Come stay in our newly renovated 1890's train station in the heart of the bluegrass. We are on a working thoroughbred horse farm right off Paris Pike, one of the most scenic areas in all of Central Kentucky. Drive by Gainsway and Elemendorf farms on the way to Claiborne farm. 15 minutes to the Kentucky Horse Park, Fasig Tipton, close to Keeneland and the Lexington area attractions.Hutchison Station was part of the L&N railroad system between 1890-1950, it still has the original hardwood floors, 12' ceilings and much of the original molding. In its heyday it included a post office, livestock loading platform, general store and blacksmith's shop. You can read more about the station house in 'Ghost Railroads of Kentucky'. Located in Paris, KY, you are only about a 15 minute drive from the Kentucky Horse Park and about 25-30 minutes from downtown Lexington and Keeneland.The spaceThe cabin at Denali Stud features a luxurious and cozy setting with open living space that includes a full kitchen, dining space and living room on custom wood floors, plus two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. We hope you don't need to bring work with you, but in the event that you do we have an office and great wifi. If you're staying with us during cooler months, there is a wood-burning fireplace with wood provided.Guest accessGuests will be able to access the full space of the cabin and will have their own private parking directly next to the cabin. Welcome to Hutchison Station, our renovated 1890’s train depot. Explore the horse farms, Bourbon trail and central KY while staying on our working thoroughbred horse farm right in the heart of the bluegrass.Hutchison Station was part of the L&N railroad system between 1890 and 1950 with passenger and freight service between Lexington and Paris. It was the center of the local community and included a post office, 2 blacksmith shops, general store and cattle pens.Hutchison station is divided into two ground floor apartments. The “Limerick” (named for Lisa’s event horse) has hardwood flooring throughout, 12’ ceilings and is furnished with local handcrafted and antique furniture. The Limerick has two en-suite bedrooms each with a king size bed.
