Really nice hotel, had everything you need really for a room and reasonably priced too! Would definitely stay again.

There were shortcomings on this visit as i was comparing it with a previous visit with my partner which was excellent.  This time i came with my best friend. We had separate rooms. My friends' room was not serviced in 3 nights. Mine not for 2 nights. I had no hot water the first morning so no shower. It was rectified after breakfast. First breakfast was over an hour to arrive. The chef was ill. If a waitress had informed us we may have chosen another option or gone elsewhere. Thankfully we were not time pressed on this occasion. The food was fine but the level of service was hit and miss, depending on who was serving. My room was comfortable enough but for the money spent, I would not return. I was not offered a discount regarding no hot water but i didn't ask for one. I should not have had to.

The room was lovely, clean. Bed comfy, bedding and towels good quality and shower hot. R

Cozy accommodation in a small village and they served nice food!

Very comfortable and warm on a cold day. Plug for hairdryer in bathroom would be very useful. Will stay again.

Business/CPD trip. Everything i needed was on the premises. Staff on friday night were very busy, but always attend to your needs. Cottage was squeaky clean. Thank you sooo much! Lively and vibrant Pub (nice to see it so busy ☺️). Dinner and breakfast absolutely delicious. Service outstanding. Hope at some Point (er) 🐾🤩 i will have to come back. Thank you all the staff.

The Pointer was very clean, the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only negative was the online check in. The staff don’t actually receive it, so a waste of time doing it. Also the online checkout showed that I still owed for the room, but had been fully paid on booking.

Beautiful room loved evening meal unfortunatly I needed to have breakfast at 8 am due to Work commitments but the Chef didn‘t arrive in time so I had to leave about 8.20 am without breakfast

We had 3 rooms on the night before a wedding. All rooms were well furnished and comfortable. Brill is a lovely place and it was a nice walk around the village. There was free on the road parking. Unfortunately all the rooms were too warm and being right on the road it wasn’t possible due to security and noise to open the windows at the front of the downstairs room. We also had to immediately drop the blind for privacy. As a result we didn’t get a great nights sleep. Housekeeping in the bathrooms could have been better around the shower. We had breakfast and evening meals. We all enjoyed our food and the service and drinks were good.
