「Il prezzo dell’ostello è a dir poco esagerato visto che il sapone in camera era finito, non mi è stata rifatta la camera ne cambiati gli asciugamani, lo shampoo erano due bustine, le finestre non si potevano aprire. Niente da dire sulla location centralissima ma ho pagato esattamente il doppio di quello che ho pagato a eindhoven, rotterdam e the hague dove ho soggiornato in hotel molto migliori」

「Sehr schönes und ”ehrwürdiges” Hotel aber auch ein bisschen ”old fashioned”. Tolle Zimmer, noch bessere Restaurants und Frühstück! Restaurantpreise im Michelin -＞ $$$$. Die Lage ist super, direkt am Rande des Zentrums.」

「駅近のデパートの上にあるホテルです👍。階下から近くの観光スポットへ簡単に行けるのでとても便利です。典型的なビジネスホテルなので、サービスは多くありませんが、便利です。」

「Fijn hotel met heerlijke bedden! Handig dat het vlakbij de snelweg is en in de buurt van het OV (bushalte). Als je daar opstapt dan ben je met 40 minuten in het centrum van Utrecht. In de buurt van het hotel zelf is namelijk weinig te beleven. De kamers zijn ruim, hebben goede bedden en een ruime badkamer (die van ons rook wel een beetje muf). Over de faciliteiten kan ik weinig zeggen want daar hebben wij weinig gebruik van gemaakt.」

「Trying so hard to be ubercool and in many ways it is. I liked a lot of the art and style. Breakfast was odd though. Random sugary cereals but hot breakfast only has one of - beans, mushrooms, sausages, bacon and rotate it per day. On the other hand vodka and tomato juice available to make a Bloody Mary?!?」

「ええと…真夜中に誰かが私たちの部屋に侵入しました。どうやってかは分かりませんが、私たちのカードのコピーを持っていたようです。スタッフに報告した後、部屋を変えてほしいと頼みました。スタッフは状況を理解しようとやって来て、その場に留まって、もしまた誰かが侵入しようとしたらまた電話するようにと言いました。もちろん、私たちはその提案を拒否し、部屋を変えてほしいと要求し、彼はそれに応じてくれました。結局、無料の朝食は提供されましたが、問い詰めても何の釈明も調査もありませんでした。部屋はかなり広かったですが。」

「This hotel's location is quite good: about 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station and next to a long street with shops (including food and Albert Heijn supermarket). The building itself is very charming and beautiful. While I was there, renovations were ongoing. This did not disturb me at all, except that the available signage to the reception was not sufficiently clear and there was no signage from the reception back to the exit. The hotel staff was friendly and seems to care about the hotel guests. However, the hotel room itself was poorly designed. The room was very cold as it only has a single air conditioning unit that serves as heating. This is inappropriate for the Netherlands given the humid and cold winter climate. The first night, I almost got no sleep because of this. The lack of warmth seems to be a common issue in the hotel given that another hotel guest reported heating in their room not working when I checked in. The room's floor is also very cold, and no slippers are provided (can't wear shoes inside as it was raining and the whole room would get wet as the room did not have a doormat). Another issue is that the room is tiny but also badly designed so that there is no proper space to actually sit and read a book or get some work done (I was traveling for work). My room was on the ground floor with big windows on both sides, which meant I needed to choose between zero privacy (open curtains) or a dark room (closed curtains). There was also quite a bit of noise coming in from outside the hotel. In the bathroom, there is no shower curtain, which means that the toilet gets completely wet once you take a shower, which is pretty inconvenient, especially given that only one big towel and one small towel is provided, so that I had no tools to dry the toilet after the shower (and again, without slippers, my feet would get wet going to the toilet, which is also not convenient). Altogether, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel, even though I had been looking forward to my stay there as I had heard it is a beautiful place.」

「The room didn't have an air conditioning system which made it difficult to sleep throughout the night as it was quite warm. Also, when we opened the windows the noise from the outside (people partying or chatting) was too much. The locker wasn't in working condition which created problems in securing our valuables. Overall, it was not value for money」
