「私たちはカップルで、ダブルルームを予約しましたが、2つのシングルルームを与えました。私たちが部屋に入ったときにのみ知りました。レセプションに戻り、ダブルの予約を見せましたが、空室がないことを知りました。驚き(失望)で見つけ、明確にするためにレセプションに戻る必要がないよりも、チェックイン中にこれを明確にしていたら、私たちは感謝していたでしょう。」

「The DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro is set in a truly unique and picturesque location, surrounded by beautiful scenery and plenty of charm. The setting itself makes it a special place to stay, and it’s a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The historic building and grounds add to the overall experience, giving it a character you don’t often find in modern hotels. That said, I did notice a few small details that could improve the guest experience — some of the typical hotel amenities were missing, such as basic cutlery and mouth rinse cups in the room. While not major issues, it’s something I would have expected at this level of accommodation. Overall, the stay was enjoyable thanks to the setting and atmosphere, and with a little more attention to those details, it could be an excellent all-round experience.」

「Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.」

「Great hotel, lovely clean rooms and nice spa area. Extended our initial booking by a further two nights and were able to stay in the same room.」

「Comfortable stay, hotel a bit dated but clean and functional, staff mainly friendly, issues at breakfast with staff working really hard but not able to keep up with food replenishment, told by manager to use a paper cup as no clean cups available, had to ask twice for coffee machine to be filled with milk. Reasonable choice of breakfast items, unfortunately no pastries though. Good amount of free parking available, staff clearing and cleaning tables friendly and hardworking.」

「Wir hatten ein hundefreundliches Zimmer gebucht und bekamen ein sehr gemütliches Zimmer im Cottage, in dem schon ein Hundebett, -napf und Leckerlis auf uns gewartet haben. Wir konnten auch gleich einen Tisch im dazugehörigen Pub reservieren. Der Service sowohl am Empfang als auch im Pub war sehr aufmerksam und insgesamt haben wir uns bei unserem Aufenthalt während der West Highland Way Wanderung sehr wohl gefühlt.」
