「I'm originally from Kendal, but now live overseas. I stayed here to visit family locally and thought I'd treat myself to a nice hotel after not being back for several years. This place was NOT a treat.
On checking in, the reception staff member asked me to pay for my stay (obviously I'd already prepaid on trip.com). When I pointed this out, she became quite rude.
We were put in the room right next to the office, and we could hear the staff chatting at all hours. The noise in the corridor from other guests woke us up several times during the night (despite the ”Quiet” signage). There was a fire alarm at 6am the next morning. Everyone had to evacuate for a good 45 mins in the rain while we waited for the fire brigade...not even an offer of a free breakfast or coffee or anything afterwards.
There's no air con in the rooms, they're really small, the bathroom is tiny and there's not a lot of room to put your stuff. The à la carte restaurant is overpriced and the food was under/overcooked (how can you not know how to cook a potato?). Personally I'd not recommend this hotel when there's a Premier Inn in town...」

ゲスト部屋の全体的な位置は良く、ウィンダミア湖に非常に近いですが、入り口の急な坂を登るのが少し難しいです。ここで599番のバスに乗りましたが、スーツケースを持って坂を登るのに疲れました。
私たちが到着したとき、フロントデスクのスタッフはとても熱心で、さまざまな施設を紹介してくれました。私たちはそこに行ってすぐに素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。サービスはとても良かったです。
私たちが予約したファミリールームは、典型的な英国風の窓と小さな天窓があり、赤ちゃん専用の小さな部屋もありました。全体的にとても満足しました。とはいえ、公式ウェブサイトに掲載されているファミリールームの写真はあまりにも醜く、窓が一つも見えていなかったので、通気性が悪いのではないかと心配していたことも付け加えておきます。
朝食はまだ十分に満足で、言うことはありません。小さな中庭は素晴らしく、リラックスした休暇に最適です。
将来機会があれば、またここに住むことを選択し、友人にも勧めたいと思います。

湖のエリアには多くの美しいホームステイがあり、このホテルもそのうちの1つです。部屋には綿棒と綿片、宝石ガラスボックスもあります～朝食は前日に注文されます。ホテルのオーナーは個人的に料理をします。絶妙で豊かな～
唯一の欠点は、私たちが泊まった2日間は少し暑かったこと、エアコンがなかったこと、そしておそらくファンがあったことですが、私たちはそれを見つけませんでした...

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this luxurious new resort style hotel in/near Windermere. It was part of a longer trip, and again we stayed in the posh Winander Suites keyed access building. Breakfast is great as you get to eat from both the breakfast buffet, and also order hot food from the menu. The staff here are always 10 out of 10 excellent for both in the spa and the hotel itself. A couple of them even remembered us from the year prior! It's great having so many dining and drinking options on site... one never really needs to leave. I really enjoy the keyed access for the Winander and additional for the room hallways. There is parking on site and a guard at the gate. I know we will continue to visit here for many years to come!

Upon arrival there was nobody at the front desk so I waited. The woman I was somewhat greated by was far from pleasant and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all. Nothing was explained and no information leaflet for me to read through in my own time. When given my room key I started walking through the lobby but couldn’t see any signs for my room number. Went back to the desk to ask where to go for my room and was told ‘just follow it round’.
Very unhelpful and unwelcoming, not sure this lady should be at the face of the hotel.
Plus side, room was beautiful and well kept/clean. I was also lake side so got to watch the sunrise with my morning cuppa. Very refreshing views.

Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast
No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities.

ゲスト6人グループでツインルーム2室とキングルーム1室を予約しました。キングルームは広々としていて、ベッドもかなり大きかったです。ホテルと客室はやや古さを感じさせましたが、とても清潔でした。廊下の家具や装飾は重厚なアンティーク感を醸し出しており、ホテルのサービスも行き届いていました。
ホテルの立地は湖畔に位置し、抜群です。ボート乗り場はすぐそばで、湖では白鳥や水鳥、鳩が戯れる様子を眺めることができ、素晴らしい環境です。ホテルのすぐ裏手には町の中心部があり、人気のレストランが数多く軒を連ねています。ホテル自体は古い建物で、英国風の趣と歴史的な魅力が漂っています。朝食レストランからは広々とした芝生と湖の景色が一望でき、爽やかで心地よいひとときを過ごせます。朝食はアラカルトで、典型的な英国式朝食ですが、作りたてでとても美味しかったです。全体的に、大変満足しました。

去的時候剛好趕上婚禮，大堂裡外都是熱情洋溢喜氣洋洋的老外。前台有衹值班的狗，乖極了。如果帶着孩子，需要額外每衹30胖子的付費，這個，呃……如果沒有這筆費用還是不錯的。第二天的免費自助早餐不錯，咖啡點了以後，服務員送。走廊裏有自助牛奶和自助飲用水。停車免費呦，停車場挺大，基本不用擔心沒地方，因為即使頭一天婚禮來滿了人，也依舊有少許停車位。
雖然英國每天都陰沉下雨或者颳風下雪，但是我們卻在這裏看到了久違的漫天繁星。

酒店體驗相當差。當天四點多入住，給我們的房間，連前台接待自己都找不到，入住之後發現我們預訂的兩張雙人大床，而是一張雙人大床加兩張簡易單人床，去前台交涉，被告知客房已滿，第二關才有解決辦法。到晚上十點準備睡覺，發現其中一個簡易床有塌陷，翻開床單才發現少了三條木欄，再次去前台交涉，晚班經理表示自己衹是餐廳經理，衹能先給加床墊，第二天解決，結果第二天也衹是把簡易床換成鋼絲床，還不如前一晚的床墊。第二天晚上拿着不清理客房換的5鎊抵用券去一樓酒吧消費，點餐後發現買單價格和才到不一樣，經過確實，確實是酒吧價格系統有問題，但是吧枱服務生拿着菜單回來時，把菜單丟在我們邊上，遞餐時的表情也是相當不爽。虛偽的英式抱歉。這個酒店根本不值這個價錢。
