全体的に非常に良い、6泊しました、朝食は毎日同じですが、ベジタリアンの食事を注文できます。トイレの水洗はあまり良くありません。フロントデスクのサービスも利用できます。ルームサービスは常に十分な物資を忘れやすいです。

The hostel was great and worth the stay for different reasons:
1. Amazing location with big lake, near public transportation
2. Friendly and helpful staff, you can borrow hair dryer at the reception. You can keep your bag in locker room also, bring £1 coin or ask lovely staff for tap to pay.
3. Huge shared kitchen with lots of cooking essentials which can be used to cook nearly everything you can.
4. Clean and well maintained room.
Can’t ask for more with this price.

私はここにほぼ4泊しました。部屋が大好きです。
シングルルームを予約しましたが、十分なスペースがあります。バーにハウスキーピングやトークンを入れるオプションがありますが、水の中でトークンを使うことについて少し混乱しています。私は金曜日の夜にチェックインしたので、通り沿いのバーは楽しんでいます。壁も振動しているので、ちょっとうるさいです😅😂私はそれが非常に大声で聞こえることを意味します。全体的に私の滞在は大丈夫です!

環境：芝生と花に囲まれた英国の雰囲気がとても良く、特に朝食エリアはとてものんびりしています！
朝食：ホテルの朝食は金賞を受賞したこともあり、イングリッシュブレックファストに関しては、この10日間で食べた中で一番美味しくて濃厚です！
サービス: スタッフはとても熱心で、到着時に湖エリアのツアールートを紹介してくれました。中国では毎日バスタオルを交換することに慣れていますが、イギリスでは環境保護のために通常は交換しません。しかし、スタッフに提案した後、最終的に変更することができました。ありがとうございます。

ホテルは比較的離れていますが、環境は驚くべきもので、部屋は清潔で、裏庭の芝生はとても快適で、子供たちは楽しんでいます。近くに食事をする場所はなく、ホテルでの夕食のみです。通常、地元の人々だけがそこに行くと推定されています。サービス容量には限りがあります。夕食は指定された時間にのみ着席できますが、料理はより繊細です。

Had a lovely 2 night break away from 26th December and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, gave local knowledge and recommendations on where to go walking… the breakfast was good value for money and caters for both vegetarians and vegans. There may not be onsite car parking but the recommended car parking made available at the local cricket club for only £2 per day is only 4 minutes walk away and convenient. Thank you also for all the communication before our stay, greatly appreciated 😊

朝食は美味しく、周囲の環境も良く、交通の便も良かったです。唯一の欠点は、部屋の暖房が時々点いたり消えたりすることと、ホテルと予約プラットフォームの間で意思疎通がうまくいかなかったことです。プラットフォームの提案に従い、3泊で2つの異なる部屋タイプを予約（1日目と2日目は部屋A、3日目は部屋B）しましたが、ホテル側は私たちが1部屋（より安い部屋）しか予約していないと言い、もし私たちが強く主張しなければ、価格差を無視して同じ部屋に3泊連続で泊まらせてくれるような気がしました。結局、問題は解決しましたが、それでも少し不満を感じました。

AAlanPBooked in for 1 night to have a rest in some luxurious surroundings after a lot of travelling around the country visiting friends. Hunday Manor is a beautiful old house in a fantastic spot on the side of a hill with a great view. The hotel is very well appointed and the rooms are well looked after. The quality of the food for both an evening meal and the cooked-to-order breakfast was excellent. Perhaps the only facility I would add is a few overnight EV charge points in the car park.
The service however was rather comical, starting with check-in. After confirming my name, 1 night stay, and printing out the reservation sheet, somehow the chap on reception muddled up my solo reservation with a couple arriving on the same day who were staying for a couple of weeks and gave me their room. After settling in for a much needed afternoon nap in the very comfortable bed and 'locking' the door on the inside, the rather startled couple walked in having been given a card for the same room. From that point on I never really managed to relax. I offered to move room when I went down for dinner later on, but the chap declined and mumbled something odd about the length of stay and seemed to point at the paperwork suggesting I had signed it making it my mistake! Sigh.
Things didn't get a lot better in the restaurant. Myself and another solo traveller were given tables at the back (by the same chap), seemingly to keep us out the way of the couples who arrived later and were seated at the windows. When either of us asked questions about the menu there was lack of understanding about the dishes.. I was then asked around half a dozen times by multiple staff if everything was ok. Meanwhile I could hear one of the couples quitely chatting about their room, no doubt the room I was in. Upon trying to put the bill on my room, the same chap from earlier left me at the bar with a card machine asking whether I wanted to add a tip.
At breakfast the next morning it continued. When I arrived the first breakfast room was full of tables needing clearing so I was given a table in the same area where I had dinner. This time given a table at the window but right in front of the only other guest, a lady already eating her breakfast. My table wasn't set so inexplicably the waiter clumsily took a second place-setting from her table while she was midway through eating! After dusting a few crumbs from one of the plates I enjoyed my breakfast. Towards the end of eating the staff were discussing how to rearrange the room for an event later in the day and started moving things around. After hearing the same couple from dinner asking to be told when their room was made available, cleaners were hanging around at the bottom of the stairs when I returned to the room. Nothing like a bit of a hurry up to finish breakfast and get out of your room to make you feel like a valued guest.
Upon check-out an apology and a chat but by then the damage was done. No offer to comp a drink (or dinne)r after making a mess of things either. It's a lovely hotel that could offer a real 5-star experience, but the service ended up more like an episode of Fawlty Towers and needs a bit of a rethink.
Next stop China.

ゲゲストI have grave misgivings about hotels in the busiest parts of the Lake District, especially at holiday times. Obviously they will be relentlessly overcrowded, with harassed and unfriendly staff. I’ve wanted to go back to the Proper Lake District for a while though so took a risk on the King’s Head. It’s easy to find on the ear popping main road up from Grasmere, just beyond the impressive hulk of Steel Fell, close to Thirlemere. Parking anywhere in the Lakes is hideous and expensive. Not here. Relaxed and plenty of room. It’s a long building with a pleasant bar restaurant area and beer garden. I found a rather pleasant residents lounge where a lady called Jo checked me in and made me feel welcome. It does get busy with passing trade but the staff look after their residents. They flogged me decent real ale and Jura whisky (the proper stuff). Breakfast is briskly table served from a menu and is well presented. I didn’t eat otherwise there but the food is popular and well priced. The road outside is busy and a bit of a racetrack, and the occasional fighter jet roars between the mountains on low altitude practice, but the relentless bleating of the sheep opposite soon returns things to normal. I was a little sorry to depart, but the manager said he hoped I would come again. I believe I will, and will even bring my wife.

ゲゲスト湖のすぐそばで環境はとても良く、バスターミナルも隣接しています。古民家を改装したホテルなので遮音性は良くなく、カーペットも少し汚れています。ウェイターはとても親切で、荷物の運びを手伝ってくれます。ホテルに忘れ物を片付けるのを手伝ってください。

ゲゲストI arrived on a stormy night in the lake district - on entering the hotel I was met with a warm glow from the log fire and a very warm welcome from the receptionist.
As the hotel dining room was about to close, a room was sorted and the kitchen kept open for an evening meal - a delicious melt in the mouth steak was a pleasure after a 6 hour
drive from the south of england, washed down with a welcome glass of Shiraz.
The bed was very comfortable, the room had a large bath and separate shower cubicle and copious hot water.
The decor and fittings were in sympathy with the age and history of the hotel, a pleasant change from the blandness of more modern mass market hotels.
The staff were very friendly and it was a pleasure to be assisted without having to use automated impersonal systems.
I will not hesitate to stay at the hotel again when I am next in the area.

ゲゲスト湖水地方の丘の中腹に位置するホテル。美しい外観、庭園、そして広大な芝生を備えたマナーハウス風のホテルで、その景観は息を呑むほど美しいです。当初はクラシックツインルームを予約していましたが、美しい景色を楽しみたかったため、写真を見てクラブツインルームに追加料金を支払いました。とても楽しみにしていたのですが、到着してみるとがっかりしました。エレベーターは1階（中国では2階）までしか上がらず、私たちの部屋は2階でした。Ctripのタクシー運転手に荷物を運んでもらうよう頼まなければなりませんでした。そして中に入ると、写真とは全く違っていて、予約していたクラシックツインルームよりもさらにひどい状態でした。ソファはありましたが、コーヒーテーブル、机、椅子はありませんでした。フロントに連絡しましたが、スタッフはレストランのサービスと並行して忙しく、私たちが通ろうとするたびにベルを鳴らして待たなければなりませんでした。フロントはCtripの写真が間違っていたと主張し、間違いを否定しました。結局、クラブツインルームに案内され、他に空室はありませんでした。そのため、仕方なくチェックインするしかありませんでした。16泊の旅行の中で最悪の夜でした。ありがたいことに、Ctripが後日介入し、差額を返金し、補償金を支払ってくれました。Ctripの対応には非常に満足しています。

ゲゲスト私は良いことしか言いません!部屋は私たち二人にとってとても広としていて素敵で、必要なものはすべて揃っていました。私たちは2人用のトリプルルームに泊まりました(しかし、最後に部屋にはシングルベッド2台と二段ベッド2台がありましたが、もちろん問題はありませんでした)。ベッドはとても快適で、共有シャワーと外のトイレは清潔で広として明るくなりました。特にカウンタースタッフのMattはとても親切でフレンドリーで、朝にシャープエッジを経由してBlencathraをハイキングする方法を考え出すのを助け、バスの利用可能性とスケジュールなどを教えてくれました。彼らはまた、私たちがハイキングしている間に荷物を保管することを許可し、ハイキング後にトイレとシャワーを使用してリフレッシュすることを許可しました。私たちはそこで昼食も食べましたが、食べ物は美味しかったです!!お金に非常に価値のある本当に素晴らしいホテル。ありがとうございました!

ゲゲストうわー!!なんて素晴らしいホテルでしょう。停電の真ん中に到着し、丁寧でフレンドリーでプロフェッショナルなスタッフに会うために、状況を知らされ、無料のニップルで火のそばの席を提供しました。停電が回復するまで、状況を常に最新の状態に保ちました。混乱を考えると、スタッフは落ち着いていて、すべての食べ物はすぐに配達され、美味しかったです。部屋はとても上品に仕上げられ、設備が整っていて、きれいで、ベッドはとても快適で、部屋は凍結以下の夜に暖かかった。朝食は本当に良かったし、私たちはすべてのスタッフによってよく世話をされました。私たちが泊まった中で最も素敵なホテルの 1 つであり、The Melbreak を誰にでも100%お勧めします。みんなよくやった
