MM GriffinFrom the moment you walk through the gates, you’re greeted by beautifully landscaped gardens that immediately create a sense of calm. We received the warmest welcome from the staff, setting the tone for what turned out to be a perfect stay.
Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had incredibly comfortable beds. The shower deserves a special mention – quite possibly the best hotel shower I’ve ever experienced! The rooms are also exceptionally well soundproofed, so once you’re inside, it’s wonderfully peaceful, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep.
The location is ideal. It’s just a couple of minutes’ stroll to the harbour, bars, restaurants, and the water taxi to Zlatni Rat Beach. If you prefer to walk, it’s around 30 minutes along the beautiful coastal path. This end of Bol feels a little quieter than the centre, making it perfect if you’re looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed pace.
Breakfast is served on a beautiful sheltered terrace with plenty of choice. There are delicious homemade cakes (the banana bread is an absolute must!), along with freshly cooked eggs prepared however you like them.
The real highlight, however, was the hospitality. Every single member of staff was genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming. A special mention has to go to Nick, who consistently went above and beyond throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his attention to detail is second to none.
As a travel agent, I’ve stayed in countless hotels over the years, and Villa Giardino is genuinely one of the best. In my opinion, it deserves a well-earned 10/10.
If I had to suggest one improvement, it would simply be the addition of a swimming pool—but the great news is that one is already being built and is due to open early next year.

朝食はアラカルトで、ペストリー/トースト、コールドカットの卵、デザート、紅茶、コーヒー、ジュースの3つのコースで構成されています。食品の量と品質は十分である。
私の部屋は十分に快適でしたが、2つの問題が目立っていました:
平らな綿のベッドシーツの代わりに、ジャージのようなものから成るシートが取り付けられ、マットレスプロテクターのようなものに見えました。これは、はるかに滑らかな綿のキルトカバーとは対照的に、丸く粗いものでした。これをスタッフに注意を向けたとき、彼らはこれがホテルの標準であると説明しました。睡眠の質には影響しませんでしたが、シートの粗さは完全に快適ではありませんでした
バスルームでは、シャワーは腰の高さに取り付けられているため、片手でシャワーを保持するか、両手で洗う必要がある場合は、シャワーがホルダーにいる間にシャワーの下にしゃがむ必要があります。特に便利ではありません。

-スタッフの不在がひどく、ホテルと部屋に入るには鍵が必要でした。私たちは鍵を部屋に忘れ、夕食後の午後11時頃に気づきました。スタッフは午前3時までホテルにいるはずなのに、誰もいませんでした。電話で連絡するしかありませんでしたが、カナダ人なので使える電話がありませんでした。私たちはもう少しで外で寝るところでした。近くのレストランに助けてもらいました。
-スタッフは午前7時に再開する予定でしたが、誰もいなかったのでチェックアウトせずに8時に出発しました。
-娘が部屋でEarPodsを盗まれましたが、Appleアプリで位置を特定し、正確な場所を確認することができました。しかし、清掃員が盗んだことをホテルに伝えるスタッフが全くいませんでした。 (私たちは100%盗難されたと確信しています。なぜなら、彼らは部屋から出てこなかったし、電子機器はどこにも持ち込んでいなかったし、彼らがいた場所はホテルから7km離れた、私たちが一度も行ったことのない場所だったからです。
- ホテルにはスチームサービスがあり、それを利用したかったのですが、衣類が戻ってくるまで1週間かかると言われました。私たちは4日間そこに滞在しました。スタッフはスチーマーを部屋に持ってきて自分でできるようにしてくれると言いましたが、結局持ってきてくれませんでした…
- 4階には美しいテラスがありましたが、私たちは最後の夜になって初めてそれを知りました。
- ビーチに行きたかったのですが、スタッフは歩いて45分かかるのでそれしか行けないと言いました。私たちは歩きました。ようや**こに着いたとき、3ユーロでトロリーに乗れたはずだったので…それに乗って戻りました。

ゲゲストフヴァル島に1泊し、海の見える部屋を2部屋予約しました。ホテルの環境とサービスはとても良く、旅の満足度が高まりました。ホテルのロビーやカフェからは海が眺められ、座ってコーヒーを飲みながら休憩するのもとても快適です。早めに到着したので、チェックイン前にウェイターさんが部屋を掃除してくれて、手作りクッキーをプレゼントしてくれました。ホテルからフェリーターミナルまでは歩いて20分ほどかかりますが、途中の景色がとても美しく、帰りたくなくなるほど楽しいです。素晴らしい体験をさせていただきありがとうございました

TTereza ZekoMy boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Amphora from December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026, and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, we were warmly and professionally welcomed at check-in, which made us feel immediately at ease.
The room was very spotless, and the sea view was absolutely breathtaking — truly a dream. Everything was perfectly arranged and exactly as we had hoped. A special mention goes to the housekeeping staff, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and very helpful.
The breakfast buffet deserves particular praise: it was one of the largest, most diverse, and highest-quality selections we have ever experienced. Due to how much we enjoyed our stay, we decided to extend it by one additional night, which was arranged quickly and without any issues.
We can highly recommend Hotel Amphora and would happily return in the future.☺️

ゲゲストFantastic hotel, 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and bus station. The resort is small but makes for a quiet holiday which is exactly what we were looking for. We were upgraded to the harbour suite which is a stunning room, although no balcony, didn’t bother us, just to make others aware. Shower gel and shampoo are Ritual branded and smell lovely. The food is fabulous, breakfast is buffet style and dinner (for half boarders) is chosen off the menu. Really high quality and believe they were Michelin recommended for 2024. They even gave us a breakfast bag as we were checking out very early.
The staff are fantastic, very friendly and can’t do enough for you. This was the case from reception, restaurant to the roof top bar. All were great.
The rooftop bar was a brilliant place to sit and watch the sunset and the ferry coming and going.
The pool is covered and heated with a separate area for sunbathing. There’s also a couple of saunas you can use. The smallest gripe, it would be good to trim the top of the trees which blocked the view from the sun terrace.
Would absolutely stay here again for a chilled and relaxing holiday.
