「スタンダードルーム（ダブルベッド付き）を予約しました。中級クラスで、サンプル写真にあるようなオーシャンビューの部屋ほどモダンではありませんでしたが、口コミで評判の悪い窓のない部屋ほど質が悪いわけではないだろうと期待していました。 期待していたほど清潔ではありませんでしたが、我慢できるレベルでした。部屋の隅々まで埃っぽく感じたので、壁や家具の裏側には近づかないようにしました。ランプシェードにも埃がたくさんついていました。また、ベッドに入る前に枕の下に長い髪の毛を見つけ、翌日シャワー室の隅にも髪の毛がありました。さらに、前の宿泊客が履いていたバットマンの靴下が丸めてカーテンの後ろに挟まっていました。 これらの点だけならまだしも、緑色の非常灯が夜通し明るすぎたのが気になりました。緑色の非常灯が点灯している暗闇の中でベッドから見える景色を写真に撮りましたので、添付しておきます。 それ以外は、朝食は美味しく、ホテル全体も綺麗でした。海沿いという立地も最高でした。」

「Lovely hotel in a great location, very near the bandstand and town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We always had a night cap in the bar before bed which was great. We also got a room upgrade to one with a partial sea view which was very nice to have. Parking was easy. You get given vouchers which we paid about £2 each per day for, and you can park on the surrounding streets. We were lucky and got just outside the hotel by the seafront. If in summer, you may want to get there in the evening when day trippers will have gone home. There's also the ncp car park near by if necessary. Bed was very comfy and bedroom was a good size with tea and coffee facilities. We didn't have any meals there so I can't comment on that. (I did notice on the menu that the vegan cooked breakfast consisted of vegetables but no meat substitute, which I thought was a bit poor for the price.) I'd certainly stay at this hotel again.」
