Where to start , well let's start at Check In, we have arrived at the Hotel around mid day which we were lucky to be provided with a room straight away, after taking our way into the room well.. The carpets are horrendously dirty to the point i had a walk around Vienna looking for flip flops just not to step bare feet on the carpet. At this point we have contacted the reception in hopes of getting an upgrade which we were willing to pay but got immediately shut down as they were at full capacity, the shower room was fine big walk in shower fairly modern and clean, big TV although do not be fooled it is not a smart TV if you phone does not have Screen Cast do not forget HDMI cable or you will be stuck watching German TV. The restaurant was only open for Breakfast they do not open for Dinner only upon request and availability, now this was a first for me.. Nevertheless we prefer to eat out always and Vienna has some Fabulous places where you can have a nice Dinner. Be careful as well when you wake up a bit later and have to come down to reception to ask for Housekeeping to come and tend your room as they will leave your room door wide open whilst you are parading around Vienna, this actually happened to us we requested them to go to the room to change the towels and nade our way to the center, once we cane back to the hotel after several hours we found our door wide open left by Housekeeping, next morning we made our way to the reception and made a complain as all our belongings where in the room and they would not take accountability if they were stolen, they only apologized and that was all not a voucher not an upgrade absolutely nothing, if you are looking for a Hotel were they dont care about you no good morning no good evening this is the place for you if not DO NOT STAY HERE. This is for the Doppio Hotel team please dont bother replying to my review and rather look into making changes when providing training to your team, people want to feel welcome and safe when staying abroad and you guys failed at both those points, seek out to Train and Develop your team because there is a long way for you guys to go. A smile and greeting goes along way. Thank you,
If you need a kitchen area for your stay then this hotel fits the bill. Read the instructions that are given to you on arrival though as if you are responsible for setting off the fire alarm, it could cost you dear. We chose to have breakfast in the hotel. It’s adequate without being great. The location is good with access to trams very close to the front door of the hotel. We were never bothered by noise. The bed, even though it can be folded away was a good. Neither my wife or I had any problems sleeping. The only gripe I have is the 50euro deposit we were asked to pay on arrival, 22/04/24, which has still not been refunded to my account even though we checked out 26/04/24. This delay in returning deposits is poor really and does not reflect well on a business…
My wife and I have just checked out after staying for 2 nights. Rooms are spacious with a refrigerator included and Nadia on hotel reception was great with us and extremely helpful. Location is close by to Zeiglergasse Ubhan Station and you can get to the city centre within minutes. Local grocery store Billa just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here.
6628minapThe location is fantastic, 2 minute walk from shops, train station, restaurants one of the best places to stay. Up market location you feel very safe. Breakfast is great, lots to choose from something suitable for everybody, the lady at the breakfast is really helpful and kind. Reception staff are helpful However, the room was freezing on the first night I was so cold I had to sleep in my jumper in the morning when I felt the radiators they were off and the bathroom was like an ice box. I had to let the warm water run to create steam for a warm shower. On complaining to reception the issue was dealt with but this should have been checked before. The cleanliness of the rooms are diabolical there is no excuse for it. Opened sewing kits, dust everywhere etc. it’s a city hotel, but for 200 odd euros a night I expect a clean room. I have to say the cleanliness was an issue and although the location was great I wouldn’t stay because I didn’t feel comfortable with the level of dust in the room.
