We were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner Angela when we arrived to check into Franz Josef Oasis. The executive king suite room was clean, cosy and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the sofas with warm blankets place for our comfort near the fireplace. The location of this place is also good as it 5 minutes drive to the town where we had a delicious dinner at Blue Ice Restaurant and Bar which was recommended to us by Angela. The service is excellent and I will definitely recommend this place to those who are travelling to Franz Josef !

Hotel is comfortable and very near to Lake Matheson and Fox Glacier Viewing Point, receptionist is very friendly as well.

少額の料金で必要な設備が整った部屋にアップグレードしてもらえて嬉しかったです。ベッドヒーターが気に入りました。広々とした部屋です。出発直前に別れを告げに来てくれた飼い犬も可愛かったです。 ハートランドホテルで食事をする場合、ルームキーを提示すると10%割引になります。

Good clean stay in Greymouth. Parking was a little difficult to find & the rooms were not air conditioned, but this wasn’t too much of an issue as when we went it was still cold. Staff were friendly & location was in central Greymouth.

Good, nice big shared kitchen. Booked the room with bathroom, well equipped with heater and toilet size is good. I wish there were shelves or racks in the bathroom for putting toiletries. And most importantly I wish the toilet had a cover.

午後9時頃に到着し、物件はかなり暗かった。レセプションデスクには、部屋の割り当てを示すドアにメモの棒がありました。 2つの部屋を予約しましたが、残念ながら両方にバグ(蛾)が含まれていました。 遅れて到着したので、近くにはオープンショップやレストランはなく、コンビニもありませんでした。近くのバーが1時まで営業していると宣伝されていたが、電話をかけると静かな夜のため早めに閉店していると知らせてくれた。しかし、彼らは親切で、私たちのためにいくつかのチップ、サモサ、春巻きを用意しました。 遅れて到着する将来のゲストには、事前に食べ物を購入することを強くお勧めします。

Fridge and kitchenette was shared in corridor outside room. We booked a family room and was a double and two singles and private bathroom. Was no photos available at the time so had not realised there was no sitting / kitchen space - but fine for one night driving through and bar / restaurant was open. Tea and coffee available in rooms.

The male receptionist who greeted us was not particularly friendly; and only when we got to our first floor room did we read about a luggage service. The room was tastefully furnished and clean, and other staff we interacted with were friendly. However the biggest issue is that the walls between rooms are are paper thin so we could hear people next door and doors banging. This woke us up early on both nights we stayed. If you stay - bring ear plugs. There was a lounge with a bar - the bar was permanently closed so there was no where to get a hot or cold drink unless you went to a cafe down the road.

客室からはフランツ ヨーゼフの素晴らしい景色が見えます。スタッフはフレンドリーで親切でした。建物にはエレベーターがありませんが、2 階に泊まったのでスタッフが荷物の運搬を手伝ってくれました。景色の見えるレストランでの朝食は最高でした。強くお勧めします。

Great hotel, wonderful staff, amazing sea views (if you book a sea view room), nice restaurant, free parking, comfy beds, nice showers - perfect for a night or more in Hokitika!
