We stayed at Korla Marriott for seeing the populus tree. Marriott made our trip and stay so convenient and easy. As we entered the front door to the hotel, we really liked the soft ambient music and the fragrance. We want to highly commend the exceptional service of Kyle at the front desk, he helped us with making our stay wonderful!
The breakfast is a must. We ordered the breakfast buffet for both days, and it was delicious - fresh fruit , yoghurts , salads , meats. It’s full of Korla flavours! Theres a great view to the courtyard from the dining hall.
We liked the small touches of detail in our room, a stoneware vase, some paintings and clean bedding and bathroom.
All in all an outstanding hotel, with friendly staff , new facilities and great food.
Very good location only 20min drive from airport. A bit away from center but with DiDi no problem. Advantage only 15min by feet to the station and therefore perfect location for a 1 day trip to Turpan by high speed train.
An easy 7 or 8 minute walk to or from the train station. After checking in I asked to change rooms as there was a smell of smoke and was given a superior room. A couple of small supermarkets nearby. Convenient for a one or two night stay.
ゲゲストI previously reviewed the Radisson Blu to discuss our wonderful experience here. Due to an illness, we extended our stay even longer. During this time my family member was heped and taken care of by the hotel staff, who continued to be incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. Meanwhile, Akbar had taken us on a tour of Pamir plateau and Taskurgan, showing us amazing sights and natural wonders. He continued to be incredibly kind and generous and we are truly grateful for his help.
MmiooA True Hidden Gem – The Best Stay of My Xinjiang Trip!
Out of my entire journey across Xinjiang, this homestay was by far the most memorable and heartwarming experience. The moment I stepped into the beautifully decorated home, with its stunning blue hues, traditional Uyghur details, and peaceful courtyard covered by a canopy of vines, I instantly felt at ease. It truly felt like home.
What made it even more special was the incredible hospitality. The owner was exceptionally friendly, always ready with a warm smile and willing to help with anything I needed—whether it was sharing local tips, helping with transportation, or simply chatting over tea. Their kindness made me feel not just like a guest, but like part of the family.
The attention to detail in every corner, the peaceful swing in the courtyard, and the cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting to relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you’re traveling through Xinjiang and want to experience genuine warmth and culture, this is the place to be.
