The room has been refurbished since my last stay back in 2014, which was a nice improvement. The location is a big plus, right in the heart of Kuantan and very convenient.
Staff were okay overall, and they took prompt action whenever there was a complaint.
The biggest downside was the water issue. There was no water at all. I’m not sure whether it was due to a Kuantan-wide water disruption or a problem within the hotel itself, but when I called reception, the response was simply, “Haah, air tak de.” Honestly… that was quite shocking. No explanation, no reassurance, just that.
Good location and improved rooms, but the water issue and handling of it really affected the stay.
