The hotel enjoys a strategic location, especially convenient for travelers arriving by train. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is within walking distance of several key tourist attractions—making it an ideal base for exploring the town.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Hannover. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, “altstadt” and opera. First time to visit Hannover with limited time, the hotel’s location made it very convenient to quickly walk around the city for a first impression (very positive first impression - nice city). The only item that the hotel may want to consider is to offer “a la carte” items for breakfast instead of a full buffet. Being on business travel, I do not have the time or need for such a lengthy and heavy breakfast experience. I imagine this could apply to more business travelers.

I stayed at the Altes Kaufhaus for 2 nights whilst travelling aboard for work. The hotel was only a short 10 minute walk from the station and was very central to the pubs and restaurants. The rooms were excellent and very clean, would happily stay again.

We had a good stay for one night. The room was good and the staff was friendly. Good locared directly across the airport terminal.

Sehr schöne Lage im Bürgerpark, fußläufig in die Innenstadt und sehr gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Freundlich, nett und unkompliziert. Fantastisches Frühstück. Empfehlenswert!

ホテルと素敵できれいです。プランの変更により、早めにチェックアウトしなければなりませんでした。ホテルのスタッフは、1泊分の全額払い戻しを提供すると教えてくれました。早めにチェックアウトした後、ホテルは払い戻しを承認していないと言われました。

Das Frühstück war excellent, allerdings auch der Preis dafür. Der Zimmerservice war soweit i.O., allerdings fanden wir ein Paar Socken des vorherigen Gastes / der vorherigen Gäste vor. Die Preisgestaltung für die Übernachtungen mit extrem wechselnden Raten je Tag in der Messewoche wird sehr kritisch gesehen. Es bleibt für die Zukunft zu überlegen, ob unter diesen Bedingungen ein Messebesuch für mehrere Tage überhaupt in Frage kommt. Der Service in der ”Sonderbar” am Abend schien etwas unterbesetzt. Aufgrund der Wartezeit sind wir schließlich woanders hingegangen.

Good location but service is slow , room needs to be upgraded ! Swimming pool is small and not very clean
