The staff and location really elevate what’s a tired, dated, basic hotel with some pokey rooms and absolutely zero soundproofing so you hear every door, floorboard creak and seagull squawk. We only ate breakfast here but it was great quality. The place could do with a refurb and the old carpets don’t help give an impression of cleanliness. It could do with a facelift overall.

The place could do with a good cleaning, overall its a good stay, but dust should be wiped on top of their lights in the room, or on the shower. Good heating and hot water, no smell in our room, friendly reception service. Nice view from our room.

Grand hotel set in massive grounds. Food was excellent and rooms big and spotless. 15 minute walk into Truro centre

I have been here many times , definitely worth to go here . The staff are amazing here. Cool place to chill

The hotel itself was a great experience and we did enjoy the novelty of staying in the prison which I would recommend to anyone. Upon arrival we were welcome by the team but very basic information was given, leading to us missing a tour of the hotel which we were told was included in the price. The manager then offered for one of the team to do a later tour for just the two of us which was cut short, very awkward and definitely not worth the money paid for. If we had been advised of the tour with the bigger group when checking in we may have had a better experience. We decided to book dinner at the chapel to experience it as much as we could but dinner was poor. We had to wait for our table, 3 different people asked for our name before we sat down and then again a fourth person checked once we were sat down. With minimal staff on the service was poor to say the least and The burger ordered was pretty much raw, I did not finish it. Once we had finished no one came to ask if we wanted anything else or to look at a dessert menu. We left the restaurant with no one even there working! Not sure where the team had disappeared to. Breakfast was good and would recommend it.

The rooms were quite old but we didn't mind. We fell in love with the area. Walking down to the centre from the hotel felt like a trip through a tropical forest.

私たちの部屋は本館ではありません。 1階の高拡張ビルまで上を歩いて行かなければなりません。私の予約にはこれについて言及していません。それはちょうどB&Bの部屋のようなものですが、これは3つ星ホテルです。手元で知っているなら、このホテルは予約しません。
