”Had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The location was perfect for sightseeing, with the train station just a short walk away. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the free breakfast buffet had a great variety of options. The staff were all incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!”
Booked for myself and daughter for a visit to Headingley. Hotel about a 20 minute walk to the city centre. Room was nice and adequate for our needs.
Nice breakfast. Would recommend.
I requested a quiet room , which when I arrived was happy to see I was on the 5th floor . After the event I attended I came back to my room and was very upset to be met by very loud music blaring into the room from outside , this continued all night and stopped at 5am . I managed 1hours sleep , I was mortified . This ruined my experience.
It is a very beautiful hotel with lots of history. I stayed on the 7th floor and had a view across the square. There was a problem during my stay but the front of House Manager Dean who is not only funny, friendly and brilliant sorted it swiftly and efficiently for me. I will definately be staying again.
Lovely stay at your hotel, the only negative was the quality of the warm breakfast items bacon was terrible really badly over cooked or pre cooked along time ago. Not sure what mushrooms was cooked in but a horrible after taste. Eggs also looked like been cooked along time. But all cold items were lovely and staff very good.
Midland hotel is a little piece of history in Bradford. Central location, welcoming opulent entrance and reception areas.Vintage Tiles, chandeliers , wrought iron staircases, high ceilings. It has been refurbished- some rooms are yet to undergo the transformation. . Our room had been refurbished- black tiled bathroom , a forceful shower and deep bath. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and as it was an executive room - robe and slippers.
Bradford is going through some gentrification - some dowdy areas and yet there are areas of inspiration such as the central square set amongst lovely historic buildings . The tunnels- and pubs/ eateries within are magical( see pic attached, truly ‘ a world of imagination ‘) The Alhambra Theatre - art deco.
Guy at reception was helpful in getting three rooms near one another. Sorted out a problem with the rooms TV swiftly. Ordered food to the room late when the restaurant was quiet and it was excellent. Breakfast was great, everything well stocked and clean. They let us bring our dogs - booked online and then phoned the hotel directly to book in two dogs. £20 extra
LLadyMarahGreat location, very quiet peaceful area beautiful room and very clean I lived it . But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.
AAlex Cheung HMThe hotel is located at the city center with close proximity to almost everywhere. The room is spacious with great city view and a huge shout out to the member of staff for their professional but warm service. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the city vibe in Leeds!
