What a beautiful welcome on such a chilly morning. The staff could not be more helpful & organic, to find this beautiful Lodge was a blessing. The service was exceptional & the food was delicious while we thawed out on a table near the well positioned open fire. The ambiance is relaxing & has a really chilled & familiar vibe that almost makes you feel your at home & safe. A very pleasant, relaxing & delicious experience & WE WILL RETURN.

We stayed for 5 nights (family of 5 with 3 older teenagers) with an ensuite cabin and a bunk room cabin. Beds were great, and rooms were clean and well appointed. The communal kitchen is clean and well organised. Kids loved the lounge with the pool table and hung out there most evenings. Lovely vibe at this place with a mix of working holiday travellers, back packers and families. Quiet and relaxing, highly recommended, thanks Lauren!

Asked for a ground floor spa unit, and it was great. The rear view was of a huge field and the mountains, and from the front you could see the garden BBQ area. The kitchen was well appointed and included a little breakfast bar. In the lounge area there was a good size sofa that every guest immediately said was super comfortable. The spa was a great size and although it was a shower over bath situation, there was enough flat area to be able to stand without slipping.

リラックスして自然を楽しむための素晴らしい滞在。私のパートナーが怪我をしていたので、ここで数日かけて、農場を探索したり、庭から熟したパッションフルーツを食べたり、短い旅行をしたり、素晴らしいキッチンを使って健康的な食事を調理したりしました。ホストは素晴らしく、座るのにリラックスできる場所と良いベッドでした。コメントするべきことだけ、WiFiは夕方に少し不安定です。

Absolutely loved our stay. The owners at Mohua were so welcoming and friendly, and even pointed out that we had overpaid in our booking so reduced our fee. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Located perfectly at the beginning of the Main Street in Takaka so great for walking along the street to shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again.
