I LOVED my stay here! the facilities were gorgeous, I loved the food and the room, but most importantly, I loved the staff. Thank you to everyone who works there for making my trip so special, including Zano!
We made use of the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The drivers were helpful and friendly. This is a great value-added service. We were welcomed at reception by friendly staff. We were helped to our rooms. The rooms are modern, functional, and comfortable. We went to the 6th floor for dinner. The restaurant and bar there is called Level Seven. The staff there told us it was a privately owned restaurant and bar. We sat in the bar and ordered food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The only good thing about the food that night was that the fries were awesome and seasoned well. Breakfast the next morning in the main restaurant on the ground floor was exceptional—friendly staff and really good food. Overall, a great stay, let down unfortunately by the food at Level Seven.
Great hotel which is connected to the airport. The restaurant on the ground level is very good, but it can get busy for dinner (and breakfast), so it is advisable to make a booking. Even for breakfast, you might have to make a booking. The rooms are very comfortable, one of the best around. Good spa on the top floor.

OObinna RaphaelI and my partner had an amazing stay at the Catalyst. The staff were pleasant especially out favourite Busisiwe. The breakfast and other meals were lovely. The location was very central and there were shuttle buses to the Sandton City Mall and back.
We will definitely be staying again when next we are in Jo’burg.
ゲゲストThis is a great hotel , in a good location. The check in was smooth, room service is a bit slow though. House keeping is excellent, I like them so much . The facility is great but I didn’t like the pool area , is always packed with so many people. Some of them weren’t even guest at the hotel . Which make it a bit unsafe to leave your belonging just lying around. I mean you have to pack up everything every time you go to the loo. The pool area had no space to sit and chill on especially in the afternoon. The bar takes a bit long to prepare drinks . The waitress/waiter were amazing. I just didn’t like the check out time . 10 am it’s too early and they weren’t keen on extending with just one hour . I don’t think I’ll book again . Safety issues. If other people didn’t have that much access to the hotel I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Holiday Inn was full so this was a close alternative.
Had amenities but their outlets were in the kitchen far from the bed? Not very business traveller or relaxing traveller friendly.
I booked a queen studio which had a kitchenette which was great for warming food etc. Decor a bit tired so could do with some love. But apart from a very dirty bottle left on the balcony it was clean.
Location is excellent for Rosebank Mall even if you have to play chicken to cross the road 😆
Customer service was severely lacking. I thought Radisson Red staff were slow but at least they were always there. You can't call frontdesk . It's all QR codes and WhatsApp. Late check out would be the cost of another night R1980. Staff had a, I dunno attitude and werent very helpful. 1 security guard and 1 young lady in the lounge are the only exceptions. Outlets in the lounge and office were local only and I had to really ask to get where I could buy adapters / converters.
Next time I'll go elsewhere. They're not customer focused enough for me.
