Maintenance personnel are also present and moving about during the day.The machinery is parked in the back of the property, far from the lake, and does not block views or access to the shoreline, dock, or lake. Wander Concierge is happy to answer any questions or concerns.PET POLICY:Our pet fee is $350/stay charged at check-out. The fee goes to the cleaner for the extra work required after a pet stays. This home is meticulously maintained and offers year-round living for all four seasons. There is plenty of room for your family and friends. Close to Killington (45 min), Okemo (45 min), Rutland (20 min) and more!The property has a dock, swimming/fishing area, deck, front porch, ground floor deck, fire pit, grill, outdoor dining and seating access to tons of biking and hiking trails, and views of the lake with beautiful sunsets. We are a quick walk to Crystal Beach! Boat rentals can be arranged through Woodard's on the south side of the lake, or you can bring your own boat and use our dock.In the fall, take in the colorful foliage around the lake along with pumpkin and apple picking at one of the nearby orchards. You can also stop in at one of the many farmer's markets and fall festivals in the area. In the winter, you can enjoy ice skating, skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. Head on over to Killington for more fun in the snow! At the mountain, you can hop on a scenic gondola ride or snow tube. Down in town you can take a guided snow shoe or snow mobile tour. Our home is unique, warm and elegant, fully equipped, yet still evolving. The property itself imperfect, but nestled into a cliff with a sweet firepit which offers wonderful views and privacy. From almost every room, beautiful lake views. Although a stretch, one of the reasons we bought this quirky property was because it reminded us of our travels to the Amalfi coast: steep cliffs, fast cars and a short trek to the water....IYKYK. Our home is well situated. It has lake access, a private dock and two kayaks for your enjoyment (must wear life jackets). ( Dock is not set up for motor boats) Its walking distance to the LakeHouse Restaurant and Crystal Beach, a mile from the Taproom at LB Restaurant and Neshobe Beach. A kayak ride from all of those as well as Bomoseen State Park. 7 minutes to the town of Castleton, 10 minutes to the train station, 20 minutes to Rutland, 30 minutes to Middlebury, 40 minutes to both Killington and Okemo/Jackson Gore ski areas. The building is a historical landmark known as The Dog built in 1903 with modern electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling. This is a comfortable well lit studio. The boat slip is across the street and can accommodate up to a 20ft boat. We have completely renovated the building and furnished the units with modern appliances. Come work remote, enjoy the lake, relax and have fun.The spaceApt 2B is a studio with a changing room unit on the second floor of The Dog in Lake Bomoseen. There is a fold down couch bed and a pull out twin size bed. An intercom video door entry is available to allow guests entry in the main door.Guest accessThe floor has a small 2-person balcony shared by the three apartments on the floor. The boat docks are across the street. The "Dog" bar/ restaurant is open in summer.Other things to noteThere is not an elevator. The historic building is not ADA accessible.
