「Generally the hotel is comfortable and has a good location. One front desk person needs more training on customer relations. Breakfast is good. The ”laundry” is two washing machines and one dryer and were available for my use. Timer on the washer was not accurate and the wash lasted longer than shown at the start. They were doing some construction/maintenance in the hallway on the 24th floor and simply left tools, materials and trash laying around. One screw got lodged in my shoe and if I did not have thick soles, I would have been injured.」

「One of our favourite stays was at White Swan Guest House. We had the most amazing experience from the staff. September 2024 We traveled to Meizhou from Shezhen. Being from Australia with limited communication we struggled to get a DiDi not realising we were in the wrong town wanting a long trip. We contacted White Swan hoping they could help us get transport. The lovely ladies Alice and Anna made every attempt to get us a DiDi so late at night and they had a friend who was able to get us from the train station. Once he was at Meizhou train station and couldn’t locate us. Alice suggested we share location on WeChat. it was then that we all realised we were in the wrong town. We had accidentally got off the train at the station before Meizhou, Xingningcun Alice & Anna were so kind and offered to help find us accommodation for the night as it was already midnight. We didn’t really want to because it will interfere with our schedule but there were no more trains.  The ladies understood and  said they could ask her DiDi driver friend but no guarantee as he had finished work for the night. She asked if he would be willing to travel the 1.5 hours to Xingning South Railway station at 1am to come get us. Which would actually have him driving for 3 hours for us. It was a late night but we are so grateful that they tried so hard to communicate with us and make us feel safe and cared for. He was wonderful and because of his kindness we reached out to him many times during our stay. The staff especially Anna and Alice were amazing. Thank you for making our first visit to China a memorable experience. The rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. September 2025 Because of the 2024 experience, we have chosen to stay at White Swan Guest House. They continue to go above and beyond, and it was great to reconnect with Alice again.」

「フロントデスクは少し風変わりな雰囲気でしたが、部屋はとても新しく、朝食は値段に見合う価値がありました。量は少なめでしたが、地元の名物料理、漬物麺、三鶏汁など、種類豊富で、どれも美味しかったです。階下には1100万元以上の価値がある伝説のゴールドロールスロイスがあり、写真を撮るのにぴったりでした。」

「My first visit to Meizhou City, home of the Hakka people. Stayed in Days Hotel. Supposedly a 4 star hotel, this place offers great value for your stay. The room is large by comparison. The hotel has a laundry room on the second floor and all you have to do it to pop your laundry into the washer and leave a note with your room number and type of wash. An attendant will finish off the wash and dry cycle, fold your clothes and deliver them to you packed nicely in a laundry bag. Free! My travelling friend complained about the smell of smoke in his room. Hotel was apologetic and arranged a nicer (larger) room for him immediately. Manager on duty gave special attention to us and chatted with us whenever he saw us. Talk about personalised service. Location wise, I find Days to be rather close to all the sightseeing and food places I earmarked. As the city does not have a subway and the bus comes in rather long intervals, the location becomes more important. Fortunately, ride hailing is easy and cheap in Meizhou. I plan to return to Meizhou again in the future. Definitely staying in Days again.」

「The Atour offered excellent service. The front office staff were very helpful, especially when we needed information about local food and museums—they provided clear and useful guidance. We also appreciated the complimentary supper and laundry service, which added great value to our stay.」

「If you’re already familiar with ATOUR hotels, you don’t need to read this review, you already know how consistently fantastic their hotels are. This location is no exception. For those new to ATOUR: these hotels are known for excellent service at a fair price. Rooms are clean, amenities are well thought out and locations are typically convenient. Simply my favourite hotel chain in this price range and once again, they didn’t disappoint.」

「I needed to stay in a hotel for 3 nights in Meizhou. The location was near many amenities and Meizhou has plenty of shared bicycles and e-scooters that are very easy to use. An exceptionally well done restaurant which is an old traditional converted Hakka house that conserves all the features is a short scooter ride away. Most of Meizhou's tourist sites and attractions are within a 40 minute e-scooter ride away. The hotel has a charming little reading room and the rooms themselves are very spacious.」

「這酒店非常讚，地點很方便，附近很多東西吃，打車還可以停在酒店門口有蓋位置，下雨的時候，上車也非常方便，酒店大堂非常寬敞整潔，也有免費洗衣服務，房間非常寬敞，有張大大的餐桌，在房間吃宵夜非常方便，前台服務員服務亦到位，非常不錯的一次住宿體驗，下一次再到梅州，又會選擇這間酒店。」
