「We had a stopover here on the way from Scotland to Lake District, and we were impressed by the rustic and peaceful environment, as well as the charming vine-covered buildings. Our room was clean, and WiFi was good (considering that we were in the countryside). The breakfast, included in our room rate, was excellent, with generous servings. Try not to bring too much luggage when staying here, as there is no lift in the building and there are multiple doors along the corridors and stairs. The price here is very competitive, compared to hotels in the Lake District.」
