The Bed King Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone passing through Zhengzhou, particularly if you are relying on the high-speed rail network. Its proximity to the Zhengzhou East Railway Station makes it incredibly convenient for mid-trip transitions, saving a lot of time on local transit. The Highlights The Sleep Experience: As the name suggests, the bedding is the star of the show. The mattresses are high-quality and hit that ”just right” balance of firmness and comfort. After a long day of travel, it was easy to get a sound night's sleep. Incredible Buffet Breakfast: One of the absolute standouts of this stay was the breakfast spread. There is a huge selection of fresh local Henan specialties (like spicy soup and hand-pulled noodles) alongside a wide variety of Western options, fresh fruit, and pastries. I especially appreciated the dry and wet separation in the bathroom—a small detail that makes a big difference in daily convenience. Service: The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming. Even with a slight language barrier, the check-in process was fast and they were very attentive.. Modern Design: The rooms have a fresh, minimalist aesthetic.

The staff were very helpful and patient given my limited ability to speak Chinese. The room was old and fairly worn but the sheets and towels were clean, airconditioning worked and no bad smell in the room. I originally booked 3 nights but extended my stay for another 3, so overall it was good value for money, given the low price.
