It was wonderful getting away from crowded city life's usual hustle and bustle. The welcoming sight of horses grazing across the road, farm buildings from the Middle Ages, and a stable brought forth the welcoming farm-home atmosphere. I loved the quiet, the people minding their own business, and the staff recognizing each individual visitor for who they are—cherished guests! I will surely visit again.

Ideal for a stop off on our way south from Scotland to London. Hotel has character and the room booked was super with a nice bathroom including spa bath. The spa facilities were really good too with pool, decent hot sauna and steam room. Only let-down was dinner. I’d like to meet the chef that puts his name to the ‘signature’ burger - it just wasn’t very good at all. Breakfast buffet, on the other hand, was really quite good. Will stay again.
