立地は、繁華街から少し離れていますが、通りに出ればレストランも数軒あります。ツーリズムロードを左に少し行けば、チェーン店のAndok'sもあります。 デラックスガーデンビューツインルームに宿泊しましたが、テレビや冷蔵庫はありません。テレビや冷蔵庫があるのは、1階のプールサイドルームだけだそうです。シャワールームに扉があるので、水浸しになることはありません。シャンプーとボディソープはありますが、コンディショナーはないので必要な人は持参を。毎日の部屋の清掃はありませんが、タオルの交換はいつでもしてもらえます。小さめで新しくはないホテルですが、清掃は行き届いています。 各フロアにウォーターサーバーと脱水機があり便利です。 朝食は、主食として白米、チャーハン、麺、サンドイッチ。おかずとして、日替わりで5〜6種。フルーツ1種(すいか)とワッフルがあります。飲み物は、2種のジュースとインスタントのコーヒー類があります。種類が多くはありませんが、どれもおいしく満足できます。 プールサイドで、ビールやコーラなどが売っている冷蔵庫があります。ビールは100ペソでした。 スタッフは親切で、初めてのシアルガオ島でしたが、とても心地よい滞在ができました。

The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. The pool area was also very well-maintained and provided the perfect place to unwind and relax. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. The boutique hotel provides decent accommodation in Butuan. However, the indoor air quality was a major concern for us. The windows on the second floor are locked, and there is no possibility of proper room ventilation. When we arrived, the room smelled strongly of scented cleaning products, and one could feel the VOCs irritating the nose and airways. The room does not provide face towels, and if you ask for one, you can rent it for 70 pesos per day. Toiletries were provided upon arrival, but we did not receive more toothpaste when the small initial one ran out, nor additional soap. Several times a day, there are power blackouts, usually lasting only a few minutes. Overall, the place falls short in terms of hospitality and indoor air quality. On the positive side, it is clean, the room is spacious, and the air conditioning works well.

Kalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal). The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

A special thanks to Raquel for her assistance during an accident, as well as to MJ for welcoming us and organizing our tours. Vanessa deserves recognition for preparing delicious meals and perfecting our coffees. The hotel’s location is peaceful, offering a quiet retreat away from the crowds, yet it's conveniently close to restaurants and busy areas, easily accessible by motorbike. I would suggest offering more activities for guests and expanding breakfast options.

The vibe here is good. Good for solo travelers but expect that at night there’s an even to socialize so if you are kind of don’t socialize just stay in your room or go out somewhere haha.
