「I arrived late evening after a long journey and received a lovely welcome and an upgrade upon checking in. Both the hotel and the room were stunning. The stair case alone is so beautiful. My bed was super comfy and my room had a roll top bath and a separate rain dance shower. The water pressure was great for such an old building too. I also had a view of York Minster. It’s right next to the train station but also easy walking distance to the city centre.」

I come to Scarborough only for football, Scarborough Athletic, the hotel is close to the football ground with about 20 minutes walk, train station 10 minutes. The hotel had gym and indoor swimming pool, who is fantastic for the hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I will come back again in February 2027. Up the Boro!!!

Lauren MintoWe had the most gorgeous stay at No.1 Guest House - if there wasn’t so much to see and do in York we would have happily just stayed in and enjoyed the hotel all weekend. The staff were amazing, especially Ellie, who made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved just sitting in the bar area with a cocktail (the rosy margarita was amazing) and looking at all the art and the cute steam train. The hotel is sooo cosy and perfect for this time of year. We will definitely be back!

Had a very lovely stay I thought the car park was overpriced and the service when we sat down to have a Valentines meal, we waited quite a while. Sometimes it seemed like people didn’t know what they were doing.

ゴルフ場の真ん中にあるため、周囲の環境はとても静かで静かで快適で、景色もとても美しいです。街から遠く、ヨークの旧市街から車で30分近く離れているだけです。自動運転ツアーでない場合は、宿泊施設としてここを選ぶのに適していませんが、自動運転車がある場合は、駐車場が無料であるため、これは非常に良い選択です。
ホテルの中には美味しい料理が2軒ありますが、値段がとても高く、量も少ないです。典型的なファインダイニングです。食事にあまり費やしたくない場合は、ホテルに入る前に市内で食事をするのが最善です。

I've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.
The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite.
5 stars from me!

Everything about the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The staff were all very friendly and could not have obliged any better that. We went out on the Saturday evening into York and the hotel booked us a taxi. Upon return we had a night cap to finish off a beautiful day. The General Manager was interested to hear how the day and evening had been and stayed with us for about 15 minutes. The dinner we had on the Friday night and the breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday were lovely. We will definitely return at a later date..

妻と私はGamekeepers Innで素晴らしい4日間を過ごしました。宿泊施設、サービス、場所、清潔さ、スタッフ、食べ物、部屋、レジャーセンター、... well...すべてがとても高品質でした。すべてのスタッフは素敵で、本当に私たちの面倒を見てくれました。特に、パーキンソン病があることを知ったとき、非常に迅速かつ寛大にアクセシビリティのニーズを改善してくれたダン(マネージャー)は、予約時に言及するのを忘れていました。スタッフとヨークシャーがとても美しいことに感謝します!将来戻ってくるのが待ちきれません。

ゲストI booked this as a surprise for my partners birthday and he was definately surprised. We were upgraded on arrival to a Junior Suite from our executive room which was simply amazing. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne in our room and some other complimentary goodies which was also very lovely.
We ate in the Orchard Restaurant and again he was welcomed by the Restaurant Manager and given a Birthday Card. The food was delicious and the atmosphere with the live band playing was perfect.
A really lovely stay and would look forward to going again.

Stayed here as a Base for Horseracing
Big Hotel,plenty of Parking.Spa/Pool is off site.
Our Room was quite small,and we did have issues with the heating not working too well.
Room was clean,Bathroom good with all amenities.
TV was big,but had intermittent glitches with the picture,but nothing too bad.
Breakfast was good,buffet style,so no problems there.
The Spa/Pool/Gym is off site up at the top of the Car Park,which can be a chilly walk.
All in all,good Hotel with decent Rooms,Breakfast,and Pool.
