ゲゲストAwesome location, lots of cafe and restaurant nearby , clean and very good services. We stayed just a night and we were lucky to see northern light by 15 minutes walking form the hotel ( as advised by the receptionist)
A perfect place to spend during your stay in lofoten ❤️
LLai Wai MunChose this hotel as it is near to the car rental place. It’s also walkable to the bus stop if you are taking the bus from Narvik airport to Svolvær. Room is big and breakfast is good with huge selection. Also within walking distance to supermarket and malls which sell local produce at reasonable prices.
BBee_❤️I stayed at Svinøya Rorbuer recently, and honestly, it was such a beautiful experience. Our cabin had the perfect view for catching the northern lights — we literally just looked out of the window and there they were, dancing above us. Pure magic.
The cabin itself was spotless and felt really cosy. One of the heaters wasn’t working at first, but the team came over and sorted it immediately, which I really appreciated. Fast, friendly service makes all the difference, especially in the cold!
Overall, a lovely stay. I’d happily go back in a heartbeat.
EEddeetohThe location was ok. A short walk away from main city area. Away from most tourist spots too.
Breakfast is provided.
But unfortunately the sky was cloudy and didn’t get to see the northern lights during my stay.
BBertkeeperWe'd booked a room for 5 with an extra bed on ***********, but when we reached the hotel, the lady at check-in informed us that in the Scandic Narvik system it was only a room for 2 people, that there was no other space available, and that in future, we should book directly with the hotel in order to avoid this happening again. In the end, she was able to find us a room, but it was such a terrible way to start off what was otherwise a brilliant stay in beautiful Narvik.
NnordinyWe stayed at Skarungen in a small but comfortable room with a beautiful fjord view. The room was simple yet cosy, and waking up to the sight of the mountains and water felt very special.
Although we didn’t get to see the aurora during our visit, Skarungen’s peaceful setting by the fjord made it a relaxing and memorable stop in Lofoten.
