"I was a chaperone with a large group of students who stayed at the Villars Lodge. Sebastien and Reyna and all of the staff were absolutely awesome, they made our stay one we will not soon forget. While we were there the food at breakfast and dinner was superb. We also enjoyed the bar staff in the evening."

"A thoroughly enjoyable experience! Excellent communication upfront, great location, a wonderful apartment: spacious, well-equipped, quiet, bright. The staff always available and keen to help. Very personal atmosphere. Due to work commitments we had to arrive a day late, so the hotel let us stay till the afternoon on the day of check-out: very much appreciated. We'll be back, I recommend!"

"The hotel is elegant with lovely rooms but my visit was ruined by 2 things. 1) my IPad was unable to connect to the guest internet and no one was able to help. I was told it was ‘illegal’ for the hotels IT person to help me. Someone also mentioned there have Benn problems with Mac laptops and IPads because of some security issues. I spent hours trying to sort it out as I needed the IPad for writing…my iPhone worked but wasn’t up to editing docs. I would not recommend using this hotel if you rely on your IPad until they figure out what the problem is. Note it worked fine at the man in conference hotel (Villars Palace) and every other hotel on my trip. 2) even worse was that at the first breakfast buffet several of us got sick ( we suspect sausages) with a debilitating tummy upset that meant frequent trips to bathrooms during conference and ruined a subsequent hiking holiday. I had to go to pharmacy doc and it still isn’t ok. Sorry to be so negative as I usually give very positive reviews."
