「I booked this stay at Hotel because of its strong reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the reputation—arguably the best hotel in Golmud. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. Even as a solo foreign traveller, I felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. A complimentary fruit platter was provided, which was a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The housekeeping team was especially impressive—meticulous in their work and leaving heartfelt handwritten notes every day, which added a very personal warmth to the stay. Even small details were carefully considered. The laundry area had a coffee machine and other amenities, clearly designed to make waiting more comfortable. The hotel also offers free airport transfer, which made arrival and departure completely hassle-free. I would also like to give special mention to the receptionist, 王蒙蒙, who was exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to assist me in contacting a driver, which made a big difference for me as a solo female traveller in a new place. Overall, my time in Golmud was made memorable because of this hotel. It didn’t feel like just a place to stay—it felt like being welcomed into a small, caring community.」
