"Perfect stay, would recommend to anyone! The park has a great location, facilities are super clean and staff go above and beyond what you would expect. Our dog had medical issues while staying at this park and Manager Dee could not have been more helpful with organising transport and info for vet visits. We will be back!!"

Merinda Village Hotel

"This is a workers camp, not a motel. I stayed there for 4 nights. My room got serviced once in that 4 days. They made the bed but didn't do any cleaning. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 8pm. I went to have dinner one night at 7:20pm and was told that the kitchen had already closed. I had to travel all the way in to Bowen to get something to eat. I also had to leave my trip a day early due to flooding. I was told by the hotel manager when I had to leave a day early that I would get a refund. She asked for my account details, which I gave her at the time. On the day I would have checked out received a message through ******* saying I had to change my trip through them. I tried that but because the message came through after I would have checked out anyway I couldn't change my booking. That was in December 2024. I paid for my entire 5 day stay at the time I checked in. We are now half way through April 2025 and I'm still chasing them for a one night refund. Pathetic operations management. I have been told it is my fault and that they won't be responding to my emails anymore."

"If you want a seaside oceanview place this place is for you and not busy and the balcony that looks out to the bay is beautiful. Swimming in the ocean right on the doorstep and crystal clean ocean great for snorkeling. The only downside was the frying pan and cutlery was put back in the cupboard dirty not washed still had food on them. But everything else was perfect and nice easy checkin and your own car park has a lift so no stairway walks, and if you don’t like open ocean swimming a nice clean pool awaits with bbq..thank you. Will be back"
