We have a 50in smart tv located in living room with wi-fi connectivity. Both bedrooms have queen size beds, chairs for relaxing while enjoying peace and quite during your stay! There is also a queen size air-mattress with linens for more quests. The kitchen is equipped with all your cooking essentials. We also have coffee and tea to start your morning off right!The chalet is kid friendly! Full bathroom with shower and tub including all toiletries. Notes:We are a 10 minute walk to downtown Brevard , enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains with everything our small town has to offer. Including Brevard Music Center, Oskar Blues Brewery and the elusive white squirrels. We are located 2 miles from Pisgah National Forest, 13 miles from Dupont State Forest and 20 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are also 20 minute drive to Hendersonville, and 30 minute drive to Asheville to visit the great Biltmore Estate. Such a nice peaceful getaway. A view of the mountains with the convenience of an in-town location. The pictures just can't show the size, this large 3 bedroom house is great for a large group of up to 8 OR just a couple by renting the downstairs only (inquire with Gareth), the newly built house is nestled on a big fenced-in lot and offers guests the best in comfort, amenities, and indoor/outdoor living areas with a private hot tub on the back deck! Ideally situated between downtown Brevard and the entrance to Pisgah Forest. Ideally situated between downtown Brevard and the entrance to Pisgah Forest, the Chalet is on the ever-growing Rails and Trails bike bath that can take you anywhere.You will enjoy many unique features at this beautiful mountain home, such as a sweeping rock staircase just past the entry gate surrounded by a large native plant garden and a big elevated back deck designed for lounging, grilling, and entertaining friends and has a private hot tub! (Please note If you wish to use the hot tub there is a $25 maintenance fee per reservation. Just contact Gareth if you wish to use the tub)Inside, the large living room has comfortable leather furniture and a 65-inch TV with surround sound. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need, and an oversized butcher block island with stools creates an excellent center gathering place. There is a full dining table that seats 6. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the 2 bedrooms upstairs have king beds. All are furnished and have full closets. 2 Luxurious bathrooms, one with a large tile and glass door shower and the other with a tub and shower combination.This PET-FRIENDLY home is a DOG HEAVEN! The whole lot is fenced, so you can bring your furry friends, who will have plenty of outside room to explore. We even have a spare dog bed and bowls just in case you don't bring your own! Please let us know if you will be bringing pets as there will be a pet fee of $25/night for up to 2 pets and $15/night for each additional after. This cozy retreat is located just a gentle 4-block stroll to the heart of Brevard, NC with its many restaurants, shops, and breweries. Bracken Bungalow is also close to the Brevard Music Center and other music venues.
With almost 350 waterfalls across the state, more than 250 are in Transylvania County alone, with Brevard as the county seat. Known as the Land of Waterfalls, this area puts visitors within easy access to the waterfalls and is known as a hiking and biking mecca.
This home has two bedrooms both with queen beds, and two full bathrooms. The dining room table seats six, and there is an adjacent bar that seats two for dining. The open floor plan provides plenty of room to relax and unwind and allows for uninterrupted conversation from the kitchen to the living room. There is an office nook with chair for use.
The house has a laundry room with washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board. The kitchen is well stocked with ample cookware, dishes, and glasses for cooking a delicious meal at home. There is a hand mixer, a waffle maker, a blender, and a crockpot. The gas grill is on the lower level in the basement and available to use. The basement is available for bike storage or other gear you are traveling with and is stocked with a bike stand, floor pump, and bike cleaning supplies.

Hello, I'm Roger and my wife is Michelle. We both welcome you to our cozy little home away from home. Our house is a 2-story house with all bedrooms and full baths on the second floor. It is located approximately 3 miles from shopping at the lovely downtown Brevard. You can drive or for the cycling enthusiasts, the bike path to town is about a 1/4 mile from the house. This features a nice little stroll through places not viewable from the main highways also on the bike path, where you can access the Pisgah national forest. The Forest is a short ride, and on this ride, you'll pass by ECUSTA BREWERY one of our many local breweries with local made beer and delicious food. We are also located within 1 mile of the entrance to Camp Carolina. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, laundry area, cozy back yard with a flowing stream and fire pit area to enjoy the sounds of the water trickling over the rocks for an evening of relaxation!! For all bike enthusiasts we also have shed in the rear of the house with a sidewalk leading to it to lock up your bikes. Also, for the convenience of our guests, we have chosen to keep the rental rate at 1 price 7 days a week!!! No need to book your stay based on price changes for weekends and holidays. We welcome everyone of all nationalities, sexuality's, gender identities, sexual preferences, race and political affiliation, we are all children of something greater than ourselves, and we all need to live as such, all the wife and I ask is if you happen to book our place please come with a positive attitude and enjoy your stay.

Lovely older home 4 blocks from town recently renovated. Three bedrooms, master with private bath and sliding glass doors to a large deck and hot tub for 8 people.Bedroom #2 has a 3/4 full size bed and a twin, bedroom #3 has a pair of twin beds.All bedding is new Jameson Marriott five star mattresses. The two guest bedrooms share a beautiful tile bath. The den has a full size fold out sofa bed for overflow, or kids that want to stay up late and watch a movie on Netflix or from our video library. The house is close to the Music Center and only 4 short blocks from the center of town so you can walk to great restaurants, shops and breweries. Relax on the porch of this 3/2 house just a block from Main Street in Brevard. Easily walk to Brevard College, Quotations Coffee Cafe on Main Street or the Farmers Market on Saturday. The fenced in space includes a large fire pit table and 4 burner grill so you can enjoy the mountain air during dinner. After a full day exploring all that the area has to offer recline on the dual reclining couch or power recliner. Have a great night's sleep in one of 2 comfy king beds or the queen bed.
Sunlight welcomes you into each room of this charming home, starting with the large picture window in the living room. Newly furnished with comfort in mind, the living room offers a smart TV to enjoy your favorite shows and movies on Netflix. The fireplace is not functioning, but you can enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the large firepit on the back porch. Both the front porch and the back patio are fully fenced so you can safely let your children and pets play while you use the large gas grill. Store your bikes in the locking outside shed. Wake up refreshed after a good night's sleep in the soft bedding provided in each bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch while listening to the birds, Keurig coffee maker and starter coffee pods provided.
The house is an easy walk downtown, where you can find a variety of quality restaurants. If you enjoy beer tasting there are numerous breweries in the area and live music can be found on King Street. Enjoy the summer concert series at the Brevard music center which is a 5 minute drive from the cottage. Sunlight welcomes you into each room of this charming home, starting with the large picture window in the living room. Newly furnished with comfort in mind, the living room offers a smart TV to enjoy your favorite shows and movies on Netflix. The fireplace is not functioning, but you can enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the large firepit on the back porch. Both the front porch and the back patio are fully fenced so you can safely let your children and pets play while you use the large gas grill. Store your bikes in the locking outside shed. Wake up refreshed after a good night's sleep in the soft bedding provided in each bedroom. Sunrise Cottage is a welcoming mountain escape while remaining blocks from the heart of downtown Brevard. Tucked off the main street and behind the owner’s residence, this stand-alone home offers everything you would need with its two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, living room, Washer/Dryer, and screened-in porch. Enjoy the property's lush gardens with flowers from April through October. There is a fountain patio with rocking chairs, Adirondack chairs, and sun umbrellas perfect for relaxing in the morning with your coffee or unwinding at the end of the day with your favorite beverage. There is also a fire pit with outdoor furniture for making s’mores.
For all ages, we have equipment to give you a great workout. There is a Ninja rig built by an American Ninja Warrior, a climbing wall, and, behind the fence, a fort with swings, a climbing dome, and a trampoline with a safety net and covered springs.
The screened porch’s seating allows you to kick your feet up and breathe in the fresh mountain air, or enjoy a meal or morning coffee at the cafe table, with the backdrop of flower gardens, songbirds, white squirrels, and rabbits.
The cottage has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, while the other has a trundle with 2 twin beds. The dresser in the trundle room has a pull-out shelf perfect for working on your laptop. Both rooms have Echo Dots for music and alarm clocks. The kitchen provides filtered drinking water, a dishwasher, a full-sized refrigerator, and other amenities. A drip coffee maker, filters, and medium roast coffee are supplied. Some spices, olive oil, Pam, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise are supplied. The home has high-speed wireless internet, Hulu TV for local channels and regular programming, Netflix, and Disney.
The shed is also where you can secure your bikes on the provided bike rack, and a hose along the driveway lets you easily clean mud off your bikes after tackling the numerous mountain biking trails. A bike pump is located on the back porch of the main house.

It is a short walk or ride to EVERYTHING BREVARD...great restaurants, unique shopping, local arts and music, and breweries, and an easy drive to waterfalls, hikes, biking, fishing, and more.
This is a pet friendly home. The front yard is fully fenced in and we do allow dogs to come on your vacation but we ask you please let us know as there will be a pet fee of $25/night for up to 2 pets and $15/night for each additional after. Come and stay in our Downtown Brevard Cottage. Walk to great local restaurants such as Wild Morel ( 5 minutes ) and Square Root ( 9 minutes ) and many others. We are close enough to the 185 King Street music venue that you might hear their music if you relax on our deck! Our cottage is a three bedroom, two bath home nicely located a block away from Main Street down a quiet side street in Brevard, NC, a college town nestled on the edge of Pisgah National Forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains!
Stroll the numerous antique and specialty stores along Main Street ( 1 block away ). Have breakfast at Rocky's Grill and Soda Shop ( 10 minute walk ), and afterwards, take the kids to OP Taylors on Main Street, a two story old fashioned toy shop packed to the rafters with fascinating things for children and adults alike.
After a day of strolling, soak up some warmth in the four person hot tub. Watch movies on our netflix enabled smart TV, or cast your favorite youtube videos to the TV with your laptop when hanging around at the cottage. To see the latest movies, mozy on over to the 'Co-ed Cinema' on Main street by foot, just a 7 minute walk.
If it's time for a drink, Dugan's pub is a 13 minute walk (Square Root has a bar too!), and if you want to keep going in that direction, Brevard College is just across the street from the pub.
You will love our brevard cottage, not just for it's convenient location in quaint downtown Brevard, but for it's comfort and amenities too.

On winter evenings, relax by the gas log fire, and when not walking the neighborhood, the cottage is close to the natural scenic wonders of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is located in Transylvania County, known as the land of the waterfalls.
Asheville's Airport is only 19 miles away, not bad when you need to get rid of a relative fast!
You can be driving on scenic HWY 276 through Pisgah National Forest in just nine minutes, following the Davidson river (great for tubing) on the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway......Stop at Sliding Rock as you pass by for some fun in the water on a warm summer day. Visit the Pisgah Inn for lunch and marvel at the views from the restaurant.
Later, drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway towards Asheville and stop at the Biltmore House to see how we should be living....you know, some design ideas for your own place....perhaps add a new wing to the abode? Gothic anyone?

If you are the out-doorsy type, sip a glass of wine and have a cookout on the gas grill on the private back deck while enjoying the cool summers and mild winters this part of the North Carolina mountains offer.
If you need a break from cooking up a storm in the well equipped, gourmet cottage kitchen, and just want to order a hand made pizza from a wood burning oven, Marco Trattoria an Italian restaurant is only a five minute walk, ( 1 min by car ) one block away on Main street, next to Hobnob. If you or the kids have a sweet tooth, there are at least two iced-cream shops nearby, one 'Downtown Chocolates' is next to the Square Root.
You can walk to several grocery stores that are close by, but four minutes in the car to Ingles, and you can avoid lugging that delicious sliced ham home.
The weekly farmers market every Saturday in summer is a must do destination for the serious cultural browser, located just off East Main Street, near Quotations Coffee Cafe, a 12 minute walk ...... past the court house. Bring your dog so he or she can meet all the other dogs who brought their owners to be market! If you are not there on a Saturday, the region boasts a huge farmers market where every chef worth their salt will be found. This is Asheville's WNC Farmers Market, and is detailed in our cottage handbook for visitors which you receive with your access instructions when you have booked.
If horse riding and waterfalls is your thing, visit Shoal Creek Horse Farm for a guided ride through the Dupont State Forest (23 minutes away) on a friendly horse...I rode Joker, my nine year old daughter rode Duke (say hi for us) winter or summer.....check the handbook for contact details. You can visit some of the spectacular waterfalls such as Bridal Veil Falls, High Falls, Hooker Falls and Triple Falls to name a few while in Dupont State Forest.....a truly spectacular natural resource.
Speaking of quaint little towns, downtown Asheville is only 46 minutes away, and is a wonderful place to visit. There is a phenomenal Antique Tobacco Barn there too that is worth exploring. As you look around our brevard cottage, you will see a few items from the Antique Tobacco barn.
With five national and state parks nearby, there is an endless potential for sightseeing, hiking, day tripping, biking and watersports such as tubing, white water rafting and fishing in the surrounding area.
The area also boasts a vibrant music scene, and know that the cottage is located near the road to the Brevard Music Center.
Every surface in our Brevard Cottage is new and state of the art from the seamless shower enclosures to the gourmet kitchen and natural gas fireplace.

We hope you enjoy our open floor plan and modern theme and that it’s a nice place to land after a day enjoying the outdoors or whatever brings you to Brevard. Whether it is biking, hiking, fishing, or enjoying the small mountain town feel this house gives you super easy access to it all.

▪️Home is NOT nestled in the forest and does not require any special vehicle to get to the location.

🚲 Approx. 2.5-3 miles to Pisgah Forest.
🚲 Approx. 14 miles to DuPont.
🚲Easy access to the Brevard Bike Path, 100 yards away from the house.

Enjoy coming to our new home, offering a relaxing and clutter-free environment for your getaway fishing, hiking, mountain biking and/or time visiting friends and family in town.
Wake and enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch looking out to the distance over the homes and businesses and seeing the mountains of Pisgah National Forest.
Don’t want to make coffee or breakfast? Walk from the house to nearby Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks to start your day.
If not wanting a chain, I recommend riding/driving to downtown to support Cup and Saucer (1.9 mile drive/ 1.2 mile walk) or The Sunrise Cafe (1 mile drive/0.9 miles walk) or the Velvet Cup Coffee Cart outside The Hub at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest (2.4 miles driving/ 2.8 miles walk).
After you start your morning, grab the river towels from the entry way closet on your way out to tube, fish, or play in the Pisgah Forest on Davidson River, any of the forks of the French broad, the more remote Cathey’s Creek, or the lakes and waterfalls in DuPont.
Stow your gear (packs, fly vests, helmets, gloves, knee pads, etc) away in the entry way closet using the tubs provided to help keep your gear organized and out of the way until you’re ready to head out for fun!
Brought your bike? Store your bikes in our backyard with a locked fence gate. Don’t miss the opportunity to use the bike path down by Walgreens to easily get to downtown, the Lumber Arts District, Oskar Blues, or enjoy a short ride on the bike path from our house directly into Pisgah Forest to hit some trails.
Whatever you choose to do during the day, come back and enjoy some time around the fire pit while enjoying time with friends or family with your drink of choice in the evening. Weather permitting, of course!
Raining? No problem. We have some games in the coffee table.
