"We spent the best 4 night stay at Hotel Aguas Claras! When we decided to book our trip to Costa Rica, we looked for a place that could provide a low-key, no rush, natural/scenic surrounding while still getting great comfort, food and service. Aguas Claras provided just that and definitely much more! The service was impeccable but yet friendly and casual! The grounds and our room were clean and very well tended to - housekeeping and the ground keepers do a fabulous job. We had all of our breakfasts (Gallo Pinto is delicious) and dinners at Papaya and the food was just excellent all around. We especially enjoyed the barbecue on Friday night... sooo good. The whole restaurant area is very welcoming with couches and sitting areas everywhere. You could easily spend the whole day there sipping a cocktail or a coconut water and reading a book poolside losing track of time. We also enjoyed the Dalime bar by the beach, so convenient and a very short walk from the hotel. The lunch menu at Dalime is great too - we really enjoyed the ceviche! **** Our stay would NOT have been the same without the big smiles and friendliness of the wait staff - Especially Frayman, Arriett, and Michael!! It was great seeing your smiles every day! Danya was awesome too and introduced us to the Chiliguaro on our last night!!! You guys are the absolute best and you TRULY made our stay in Costa Rica extra special. **** We rarely visit the same location twice (there is so much to see in the world)... but we might very well make an exception for this one :)"

"We had a fab stay at Caribe Town. Mel was a great host and had so much knowledge of the area with recommendations for places to eat and drink. Janus (I hope I spelt that correctly) was an excellent too and really looked after us, he made some great cocktails. Our room wasn’t huge but had everything we needed. The location was perfect, not far from busier areas but not too quiet either. A beach was just over the road and the jungle was behind us. Thank you Mel and Janus YNWA"

"We spent a week here and it was our most beautiful and pleasant accommodation in our three-week holiday in Costa Rica. There are only four bungalows here, the garden is just dreamy beautiful. Here you can also spend hours looking at the colibris or morphophalters, the small agutis or the monkeys. It is paradise. And yet not far from the street, the supermarket is almost around the corner. Also to the sea, it's just a few minutes. The bungalows are lovely furnished and you're here very for yourself. Each house has its own terrace and outdoor kitchen that we have actually used a lot. The bed is comfortable, at the pool you can also afford it very well. Practically, the parking are also for the car. Daniela is a very friendly and attentive host."

"We stayed for 2 nights at Casa Bromelia after just arriving in Costa Rica the day before. This was a perfect location for us to relax and enjoy the sounds and sights of wildlife right on your door step in the middle of a rainforest. Our alarm call being the sound of howler monkeys at dawn! The accommodation is totally private and very comfortable with all the amenities you need in a large fully functional kitchen. Tine, our host, could not have been more welcoming and helpful providing us each day with a delicious breakfast have delivered to our property each morning. We highly recommend this property. "Aguas Claras is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We stayed in the Bibiri one bedroom bungalow which was perfect for the two of us. The king size bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious and the amenities were plentiful. Our bungalow which was estrés in the beautiful grounds was very private and spotlessly clean. One of the best features of this bungalow is the huge covered front porch. Every evening, before dinner, we would sit for an hour listening to the birds while trying to spot monkeys, sloths, tucans and other wildlife. The beautiful semi private beach is only steps away. There are lounge chairs, towels, beverages, clean bathrooms and snacks available. Breakfast offers many choices and is served in a very comfortable outdoor area. While Aguas Claras is stunning, what most makes it stand out is the wonderful staff that works at this property. Without exception, everyone is kind, helpful and professional. In particular, I would like to thank Arriett for always being there for us. Thanks to Aguas Claras for making our stay a perfect one"

"Such a wonderful stay at Caribe Town! I spent my 40th here and there is no where else I would have wanted to be!! The property is beautiful, the people are so warm and inviting, and the accommodations are just perfect bungalows in the jungle. We laid by the pool, did yoga, read on our patio hammock, played games, had drinks, and just enjoyed everything here. I loved how thoughtful and considerate everything was - there was an area with all sorts of info on local activities, recommended restaurants, a number for a tuk tuk, we had a load of laundry done before we left, and a massage during our stay. I never thought I would be lucky enough to have a massage on my patio in the jungle. The location is perfect too! Right across the street from the beach and an easy walk to restaurants and markets. 10/10 we would come back again!"

"Absolutely charming B & B in the jungle, walking distance from the beach. Owners are very warm and welcoming, shared space is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, with plenty of hammocks, hammock chairs, sofas, and a big shared kitchen. I stayed in Room 1, a triple, which is the biggest room. Air conditioning and fans worked fine and I was very comfortable, although I opened the wood shutters and turned off the AC during the day so I could hear the jungle critters. All the rooms have en suite baths and all, I believe, have AC. Room 1 faces the front of the property, so you may hear folks coming and going, but I was never bothered. Room 2, another triple, is right next door and faces the back of the property. It's not quite as big but it's quieter. Groceries are a 10 minute tuktuk ride away (about $7). I stocked up on my arrival and cooked most meals for myself, but they do offer breakfast for a reasonable price. You're surrounded by jungle so you hear bird song and howler monkeys all day. One of the most relaxing vacations I've ever had. Definitely recommend!"
