ダブリンのフィットネスルーム・ジム付きホテル

ホテルの階下には多くの中華スーパーや中華料理店があり、フロントには専任の警備員がいて出前の受け取りを手伝ってくれます。朝食も種類が豊富で、一つだけ致命的なバグがありました。一番外側にあるエレベーターが地下1階に降りると従業員専用エリアになっており、ランドリールームも同じ階にあります。この二つの間にはカードキーが必要なドア（写真10）で仕切られています。従業員エリアに入るにはカードをかざす必要がありますが、ここで面白いことが起こります。洗濯を終えてエレベーターを呼んだ時に、従業員エリアのエレベーターが降りてきた場合、部屋のカードではそのドアが開かないため、そこを通り抜けることができません。その場合、そのエレベーターが上昇するのを待ってから、他の通常のエレベーターが降りてくるのを待つか、隣の階段を使うしかありません。チェックアウトの日、偶然にもスーツを着た恐らくマネージャーの方に会い、この件を伝えました。今後の改善に期待しています。

これはまあまあのホテルでした。私の主な不満は、最初の清潔さです。いたるところにほこりが舞い、タオルの1枚はひどく汚れており、シャワーにはカビが生え、ベッドシーツには汚れがありました。正直、うんざりしました。1つ注意すべきことは、7日未満の滞在の場合、部屋の清掃は行われないことです。清掃には追加料金を支払う必要があります。スタッフはフレンドリーで、朝食は良かったです（1日あたり14ユーロの追加料金に見合う価値はないかもしれません）。ロケーションは素晴らしく、レストランやショップがたくさんある運河から徒歩圏内です。部屋は非常に狭いですが、長期滞在して料理をしたい場合に必要なアメニティはすべて揃っています（ただし、衣類のランドリーサービスについてはわかりません）。個人的には、主に清潔さの理由でこのチェーンホテルを再び予約することはなく、部屋が毎日清掃/補充されるホテルの方が好きです。

A reasonable hotel about 20 to 25 mins walking distance to city center. We tried the breakfast and it’s worth it (pre book is required at the reception counter in order to enjoy the discount of €4). The staffs are friendly too.

I decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked. Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre. Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well. Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home. The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want. Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

ホテルはとても素敵で機能的です。簡易キッチンには食事を作るのに必要な設備が揃っていて、実際に利用しました。シャワーは広くて快適で、アメニティも質が良く、タオルは最高でした。他の4つ星や5つ星ホテルよりも優れていると言っても過言ではありません！スタッフはとても親切で、どんな質問にも快く答えてくれます。ダブリン市内中心部へのアクセスも抜群で、ホテルのすぐ横のドアのすぐ外にトラムの停留所があります。 おすすめです。コストパフォーマンスも抜群です。Trip.comのオファーに感謝します！

メトロホテルに全く不満はありません。チェックインが遅れてしまったので、事前に電話をしました。とても親切に対応してくれました。レセプションとレストランのスタッフは皆とても親切でした。 ホリデーブルーの駐車場へのアクセスも良好です。 またぜひ泊まりたいですし、車もそこに停めたいと思います。

非常に快適なホテル、中心部から徒歩 15 分、広くてとても快適な客室、アイリッシュビュッフェ式朝食、とても静か。電車が近いので最初は不安でしたが、問題なく音は聞こえません。完全に満足で、ダブリン・ジョージズ・キー・アルスター銀行バス停からは徒歩約10分です。

The first room was leaking when rained. Changed to a different room which was quite noisy. But was given breakfast vouchers as compensation.  Staff friendly and helpful.

My husband and I had been planning this trip to Dublin for quite some time. And when we found this beautiful boutique hotel online, we were so excited. As soon as we arrived And checked in, there was a lot going on in the lobby area, so it was a little overwhelming. We saw a lady at the desk, but we weren’t sure that she actually worked there because she didn’t greet us. Didn’t even look our way. It seemed like she had a general disinterest or disdain for us being there. I asked, “Is this the front desk to the hotel?” To which she responded in a monotone voice, “Yes.” I was shocked that this was the first impression of the hotel that we were getting. What made it worse was that my husband was told that we needed to put a card on hold and he proceeded to tap his card thinking that it was like all the other places we had been to in Ireland. But it didn’t work. Several times he tapped it and it showed nothing. He asked the lady, “does your tap work? Do you have tap?” To which she replied a curt, “no.” Mind you, she was standing there the entire time and could see the entire situation. This interaction was such a bummer, and this made our short trip to Dublin feel a little sour.  To be honest, not all of the stuff was like that morning. We woke up to get a coffee downstairs, and the gentleman that works at the coffee bar was very warm. A young Spanish speaking man. He was absolutely amazing; patient and willing to answer any questions About the items on the menu And the different pastries available.  Overall, the hotel was a mixed bag. It had a very chic vibe but outside of that lovely gentleman, their customer service can definitely improve!
