"We had a good stay at Aux Etangs. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. It’s a good location to explore the Ardennes region. Acces by car is good but public transport might be challenging. As there are not a lot of eateries nearby we ate at the connected restaurant. The food was good but the waitress for our table was not very helpful. We asked if she could speak slower but she just continued at the same rate. We felt we didn’t get the same level of service compared to the other tables due to our fluency in French. In the end: nice food but upgrade your French first. We would come back for the hotel but not the restaurant."

"Booked hotel got there its a self check-in not a problem if you have code to get in 20 minutes and two phone calls later we were begrudgingly given the code over the phone which was suposed to be sent by email which eventualy arrived 40 minuets after we arrived not impressed. room was large bathroom ok bed was large but seen better days mattress very uneven not very comfortable bedding old and very bobbely not overly clean no extra pillows would definitely not recommend "
