「Picked here cause the location is awesome. Visiting again and everything was expected, only very minor issues like fighting for a car park, slight shower damage and co fusing layout. But it dint deter from a nice night sleep and free brekkie before heading out. The best part is still the location, you’re inside a national park!」

「I've stayed at the Admiralty Inn a number of times in the past and usually the stay has been good. On a previous stay earlier in the year, and as I was packing to leave, there was a knock on the door saying 'Housekeeping'. The time was 9.40am (checkout is at 10am) and I just felt I was being pushed to leave. I let it slide at the time as i wasn't far off packed and ready to leave anyhow. However, on my most recent stay in May it was taken to a whole new level. Having in mind my previous experience, I decided to place the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. My thinking being that this should mean that I wouldn't be disturbed until the 10am checkout. At 8.09am, yes I checked the time, the door to my room opened, no knock no warning, and the housekeeper is poking their head in the door. Whilst I was awake I was still in bed though, but what if I had just jumped out of the shower and no clothes on? The housekeeper did make a hasty retreat saying sorry but I just feel that's not good enough, especially as I had the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door and almost two hours prior to checkout. It makes me wonder if any one else has had a similar experience. When you book a motel room you do expect a reasonable level of privacy but I am now very hesitant to stay at the Admiralty Inn again as I feel I cannot be guaranteed any privacy at all. In saying all this, I was tempted to leave a poor or bad review, but I settled on average as the room itself was adequate for the price. All things considered I think my rating of average is more than fair.」

「Great location on the main strip. Good shops around. Swimming pool could be warmer considered it’s a heated pool. And family room could have more toys for kids and the projector didn’t work. But the staff were nice and the restaurant was lovely.」

「Wonderful, warm and comfortable cabin..... heated pool in winter was a great surprise for the children. We left something behind and the staff promptly contacted us and then held on to it until we could make it back to collect. Much appreciated. Highly recommend!」

「Great location by the sea. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff is a bit undertrained. Called in the morning to push for checkout when I already extended my stay the night before. Housekeeping didnt service my room until I asked them to as they saw the do not disturb sign in the morning but avoided checking the housekeeping sign later in the early afternoon. Chromecast on the TV does not work and the lights automatically switch off if there’s no movement in the room.」

「An overall relaxing and peacefully stay. The view looking over the vineyard is remarkable. The amenities and breakfast provided were more than enough. The 10:00am checkout though is a bit rush as other properties would usually have a 11:00am checkout.」
