「Stayed at the hotel for its close proximity to the Cairnryan Port due to an early ferry departure the following morning. We had a comfortable room fit for our needs, with ample space for the family. There is a car park onsite. We arrived late and left early, so weren't able to use the facilities, but the areas we did see were well presented. They were kindly able to arrange a takeaway breakfast for us, as we were leaving before breakfast was served.」

「The Portpatrick Hotel is a stunning building, inside and out. Obviously, this is shown by the slightly dated decor, but I would imagine it is a listed building, and their hands will be tied regarding what modifications they could make to it. For me, it adds to the charm of the place. The rooms are clean and have exactly what you need for a comfortable stay. If I had one complaint, it would be the shower; it was poor and rarely had hot water. Again, I understand this could be due to the volume of people in an old building. This did not affect my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bar and games room were great, and breakfast was great value served in a stunning dining room. Will definitely be returning one day, thanks for a great stay! 「Perfect stay for the ferry but a lovely town and worth more than one night Really friendly staff who are genuinely pet friendly There was entertainment on when I stayed but due to an early ferry I’d missed it but the band members were nice too I’ll stay again and recommend Only had a pudding which was nice and the main dishes looked better than what I’d had elsewhere Over heard an awkward customer and the kitchen even catered for her Thanks for a great stay」
