「Hi we just wanted a hotel within close distance of Reading town centre on a budget. It had all that we needed but could have done with air con. The staff were very accommodating and listened to any needs of customers.」
「Very good in terms of location, A nice little walk to the centre but far enough out that you don’t really get the noise of the late night drinkers (sat/friday). The room was a decent size for what we paid, nice shower and bathroom small but good for the money we paid. However, the room was really really hot. We had to sleep with both windows open, AC didn’t work at all. The TV has all the normal channels and it worked perfectly. The coffee machine area downstairs was helpful however they didnt give us any cups, put any available out for people to grab or tell us that they even had any. No tea bags or little things of milk which would have been helpful. The machine does make tea however we both werent sure how useful/good it would have been. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap stay in reading.」
「Nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Location is good, close to downtown. Environment is nicer than in the centre. Room is big too, simple breakfast but good enough.」
MMei ShanThe hotel is basically accessible by car only. No bus , no train, no shops. The room is spacious but pretty old fashioned and worn-out. The trade off is the room price is absolutely affordable.
ゲゲストI recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Reading-South M4, Jct.11 for one night and had a very positive experience overall. The location is convenient, especially for those traveling via the M4, and the hotel facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. Everything from check-in to the room comfort met my expectations, making for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
I’d rate my experience a 9/10 — the only thing that would have made it a perfect 10 would be the inclusion of free parking. Aside from that, I had a great stay and would happily consider returning in the future.
RraffzThe staff is friendly and polite. Although it’s a bit of a drive from Newbury and closer to Thatcham, the location isn’t too bad. There are even public transport links, with a bus stop outside on the line that connects Newbury to Reading. I haven’t tried the food yet, as it seemed a bit expensive to me. However, there’s a pub nearby that serves excellent food. Unfortunately, there’s no air conditioning, but fans are provided.
ゲゲストAfter requesting a quiet room due to having our 11 month old with us we were placed directly above the function suite for a wedding and while testing the sound system the floor below are feet curated and the noise was crazy.
The moved us rooms out of the original Manor House we requested and into the furthest room possible from all amenities on offer smaller than our original room, 3rd floor and no lift with a baby in a pram and lots of luggage. The room was also unbearably hot and a crazy sensor/light in the bathroom kept our son (and them us) all night.
Not sure if recommended staying here. .
