They provided three meals, if you are a Chinese tummy I had the chance to stay at Xiaomi Homestay in Kilimani, Nairobi, and it was a refreshing mix of comfort, convenience, and cultural charm. Location & First Impressions The homestay is tucked away in the lively Kilimani neighborhood, which makes it easy to access restaurants, shopping malls, and transport. The property itself feels modern, clean, and welcoming — a good balance between homely warmth and hotel-like comfort. Comfort & Amenities The facilities were a big plus. The gym was well-equipped, making it easy to keep up with workouts, while the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the city. Both amenities added great value to the stay, especially for anyone who enjoys fitness and downtime in equal measure. Meals & Dining Experience One of the standout features was the inclusion of three daily Chinese meals. This made the stay very convenient, especially for anyone missing home-style dishes or simply wanting a reliable, flavorful option without having to step out. The meals were hearty, authentic, and gave a unique cultural touch to the experience. Atmosphere & Service The overall atmosphere was warm and peaceful. The hosts provided thoughtful service, striking a nice balance between giving guests privacy and being available when needed. It truly felt like a home away from home, with just the right amount of care.

2つの大型ショッピングモールに近く、静かで活気のある雰囲気のホテルです。建物と客室は新しく、必要なアメニティはすべて完備しています。屋上レストラン「ASIATIC」では美味しいアジア料理をお楽しみいただけます。ご宿泊のお客様は20%割引となります。出入りには厳重なセキュリティ対策が講じられています。

ホテルは空港への無料送迎サービスを提供しているはずで、チェックイン時に午前4時30分に電光掲示板に表示されている所要時間を伝えました。フロントデスクは、表示されている時刻表は更新されていないと言いました。無料送迎は午前4時か午前5時など、1時間ごとの運行です。私たちは午前4時を選択しました。 翌朝フロントデスクに行くと、担当マネージャーは予約が入っていないと言いました。同時に、無料送迎は特定の時間帯のみだとアドバイスされました。彼らは更新された通知を見せてくれました。私たちは空港までの送迎料金を支払うしかありませんでした。 変更について通知されず、夜間に時刻表と料金が変更されたのは、ゲストにとって不公平です。

The accomodation is absolutely top range and comfortable and the place has so much to offer. Unfortunately, it appears to be running on auto pilot or poor management. These are the things which really annoyed me: 1. Arriving at night, the signage is not well lit and we struggled to establish whether we had arrived at the right place, especially the security personnel at the gate were not being very helpful. They have never been given any training to help them understand that they are the first point of contact between guests and the residency. 2. We arrived on a ”Jazz Night” but, although I am a jazz lover, it should not be foreced upon everyone. The layout of the dining area is very poorly thought out. There was no maitre d'hotel or someone to direct us as to where we should go if we wanted to eat and not listen to music. Eventually we found someone to help us walk past the music area and squeeze past the tight space to go past th bar to the dining area. The whole layout is kind of back to front. The dining area should be more easily accessible and there needs to be a way to separate the main dining area without getting rid of the dining tables in the music area. 3. The dining area is exposed at the back and there was a strong could draught that night, because the rear part of the dining area is exposed to the elements.

すべてが素晴らしかったです。敷地内にレストランがいくつかあり、プールもいくつかありました。

中心部に近く、徒歩数分でたくさんのバーに行ける便利な立地です。外出したいなら、Uberはとても効率的で安いので便利です。スタッフはとても親切で、レストラン/バーは24時間営業（だったと思います）。部屋も素敵でした。全体的に、ナイロビは少し高めだと思いますが、ここは悪くありませんでした。サファリの後のために再度予約しようとしましたが、料金が高かったので、代わりにスイス・ベリンにしました。こちらの方が安く、同じ水準でした（少し遠いですが、UberとBoltはとても効率的で安いです）。 ケニアに入国する外国人へのアドバイス： 1. ケニア国外で通貨を入手してください。ここの両替レート、特に空港でのレートは非常に悪く、実際のレートより最大35%も安く提示されることがありました。 2. ここには少額の現金しか必要ありません。訪れるほとんどの場所でカードが使えます。 3. テルコムのSIMカードは購入しないでください。ナイロビでも全く役に立ちませんが、サファリでは全く機能しません。 4. UberとBoltはここではとても便利です。 5. サファリに行く予定で、国立公園の入場料（米ドルで支払う）が旅行に含まれていない場合は、到着前に必ず手配しておきましょう。米ドルが必要なら、ここの銀行やATMは非常に頼りになりません。 6. ホテルの法外な料金で洗濯をするのはやめましょう。Smartfua Laundromatのような、ほんのわずかな料金で洗濯物を集配してくれる地元の業者を探しましょう。 7. サファリに行く場合は、車の後部座席に座らないようにしましょう。路面が非常に揺れます。 良い旅を！
