"We were 2 nights in the hotel and were on the way with the motorcycle overnight and we used the half-pension and the wellness area in the evening. Our first room was quite remote, the first look to the roof: fungus. In addition, no mirror in the bathroom. We asked for another room directly, but you couldn't do anything booked for the second night possible. The next morning the next surprise in the bathroom, there was water on the ground, probably out of the toilet. In the evening we were able to offer another room, a simple double room in the top floor, without air conditioning, without lift. As the hotel overall has come quite in the years, but otherwise clean and clean. The dinner was two times a buffet. The selection was large enough with pre-food and after-food. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is rather at the imbiss level. The breakfast was only OK, there was no more touching one hour before the end of the breakfast time and although this was seen, it was only made on request what. The sauna was very hot and we liked it very well, as well as the swimming pool. The wellness area with a rest zone is small and not very lovely designed, in the outer lighting you could at least cover the empty basin. The promised sauna towels on the site are only the normal larger showers, but not large enough to be called sauna towels. "A last minute booking but a warm welcome, nice big family room. Well equipped, quiet and relaxing. Car parking is in the covered garage, which is helpful in bad weather. The buffet dinner was really nice, a chance to sample a variety of German food. Breakfast was a nice variety and plenty of space in the dining room. The local area is good to explore."

"I fell in love with this magical fairy tale hotel when I stayed over for only one night. I had called ahead to ask for a room with a balcony and a bath tub, and from my very first chat with the owner, Peter, on the phone, my friend and I were made to feel warmly welcomed. Tucked away in an idyllic forest setting, the room was brilliantly clean, comfortable, filled with charming details, framed art and prints, interesting books, telephones, complimentary chocolates, fruit, water and coffee and I enjoyed an absolute dream bath! The delicious and spectacular breakfast spread was also very enjoyable. The hospitality, quality and charm I experienced there will stay with me and I hope to return for a longer stay while Peter is still there."

"We have stayed in the 4-star Hotel Arminius in Bad Salzuflen for 3 days from Sunday, December 14th to Wednesday, December 17th. More than the value of the effort and it fully responded to our expectations and the 4 stars. We used a “Anbud”including breakfast. Our room was a completely furnished apartment with separate bedroom incl. complete kitchen. Every day clean towels and the delicious bed was cleaned and well-formed. There were 2 TVs, in the room and in the bedroom. Unfortunately there was no Dutch TV but with the well-functioning internet we could watch TV on our Ipad. To get into the parking garage, we had to drive 150 mt over a pedestrian zone, so look carefully or otherwise drive 4 km around to get into the parking garage from the other side. We were very friendly welcomed at the reception and found the staff very friendly and service-oriented. In the corresponding restaurant “Varus” we had a good food. In short, it is ready for repeat.
