Great location in the heart of the city. Staff were very warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean but just very dated and tired looking.
Unglaublich freundlich.
Arrived at the Lovat Hotel on Wednesday 13th August to a very warm welcome. The staff were excellent very friendly helpful and professional. The room was absolutely beautiful with a huge bay windows and stunning views. Very peaceful and relaxing , I would highly recommend this hotel
Travelling for the first time just my daughter (4) and I, and the service we received was exceptional. Initially there was a mix-up with room sizes and only a double was available. While that was fine with me, my little in wanted her own ‘big girl bed’. The staff brought her some little treats to ‘sorry’ but still worked some magic and found us a twin room. They really went out of their way….for a 4 year old!
Good variety on offer for buffet breakfast all of which was warm and good quality.
I’ve stay at the Fishers previously in different group sizes and have always found tue service and value for money fantastic.
LLamThis is an amazing historic hotel, it's a beautiful castle on a huge lot. Parking is convenient, and the view is stunning. It's also right next to the Blair Athols distillery, so perfect place to stay if you're visiting the distillery and want to spend some time in the nearby area. The small town is also very accessible from this hotel.
The only issue is it's a very old hotel, so the facilities are not the best, and the renovation is very dated. The other thing is the service is not the best, the waitress doesn't really want to serve customers. Be ready for a little frustration due to that. Otherwise it's a great place to enjoy a weekend.
ゲゲストA lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade.
Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too.
The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax.
Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated.

Ratings for all except service based on website. rating on SERVICE based on experience
for reasons entirely out of my control, I had to cancel my stay 24hrs beforehand. I called to let them know. I advised I had to cancel and the reply was (word for word)
” ok , that's still chargeable”. NO ' I'm sorry to hear that' NO ”maybe we can find another date so you don't lose your money”... no ' we can't refund you but do you want a credit on account'.
if I'd have phoned 12 hours earlier my money would have been refunded or I could have amended my booking.
the blame was put on TRIP as I was told ' you booked through them and they wont help you.
So I'll be avoiding this place when I go up for my trip, and I'd advise others to avoid places with staff as uninterested as here.
ゲゲストKenmore is a beautiful location and the area is a stunning area of natural beauty in Scotland. That said, having stayed at this resort before, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of not only the lodges but the leisure centre. The lodge itself had peeling wall paper and chips around light switches and old frying pans, all things which are easily maintained and/or changed. The pool area is lovely but pool was cold and one of only two showers were out of order due to a cracked base in the ladies. This was a relatively cheap break but despite this I do feel the Kenmore club is looking a little shabby and in much need of an overhaul or at least some renovation to keep up with the neighbouring hotels and lodges which are more modern and well kept
KKatherineReally clean room and friendly service. It’s periodic features are very charming. The pork belly on the dinner menu was so tender and succulent. Really enjoyed the stay. Highly recommended.
AALEXPRIVery pleasantly surprised. Arrived to hear that they were currently RENOVATING the rooms. Brand new room, new bathroom, excellent bed. Wi Fi was free, as was the tea and coffee. You also get a free breakfast which is remarkable value - either a full English or a continental. Juice, pastries, coffee machine, spreads - was very good indeed for the price paid. Curry house also ran by the same people is attached, with a bar and a pool table. So so convenient. Car park very close by. Less than 1 minutes walk.
