Very basic breakfast
No restaurant (only a basic set breakfast)
Basthroom is small and full of mould
Single beds are narrow and pillows are slaps of foam
No bottled water (you are supposed to get purified wtaer from a dispenser in the corridor
The corridor is very noisy (doors slamming)
Two lifts but only 1 working (cost savings?)
On the positive side: a very reliable and high speed internet.
Overall, a very basic local hotel not really reflected in the name.
Overall, it was a nice experience due to the polite staff; nevertheless, the room was unkempt, had no window, and provided limited amenities. The buffet also offered a limited selection of food items. The staff needed to continue tidying the room. Thanks, Ironwood; see you again next time!
Easy check-in and out. Very good (central) location. The room was tidy, very clean, good beds, big cabinets, very good wifi; shower & bathroom very fine. Unlimited cold 6 hot water. Additional free breakfast (very fine). The value for money is perfect. Once I come back to Ormoc, I would book this hotel again. No regrets, no complaints, very friendly and helpful staff.
Feedback:
Visited recently and here's my take:
- Service was top-notch! The manager was super attentive to our complaints and requests 👍
- Food was delicious, enjoyed our meals!
- Major issue though: MOSQUITOES everywhere in the room! 😔 Our 1-year-old and 4-month-old babies were bitten all over (face, arms, legs, neck...) and cried all night. Not cool for a family with little ones.
Overall, service and food were great but the mosquito situation needs serious fixing if you have kids.
ゲゲストIt’s nice to stay in this hotel because it’s clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating to the guests I recommend this hotel to my friends and family

”We are frustrated with the hotel's parking area policy. According to staff, we are not permitted to park there as the spaces are reserved for customers. However, we have noticed different vehicles using the same spots throughout the day, which suggests no specific reservations are actually in place for individual spaces.
We believe parking should be on a first-come, first-served basis since all guests pay the same rate for their stay. We would like to clarify – does the hotel have designated VIP parking spaces that are separate from general guest parking?”
