「Whilst arriving at the Don Pedro past midnight on the 22nd of June we were gasping for a cup of tea lovely kettle and cups in the room but no teabags upon asking at Reception no none available anyway just a suggestion it would be good to have a couple in the room for arrival, thank you」

「A traditional hotel approx half an hour walk to the Old Town but with steep hill so might not suit older person to walk. Room was spacious with large balcony and had fabulous views of the sea and garden. Room cleaned daily, very comfortable bed & lovely hot shower. Continental breakfast, had to eat inside as there were pigeons on the patio. Joes bar on the premises & an English bar across the road. Got the airport bus, €6.50 each & got off at stop 10. Would stay here again.」

「The location on the ocean is breathtaking and that is my main take away. Everything else was perfectly fine. My only disappointment was the on site pools were closed during our stay. Was told they were being cleaned but I never saw any such activity.」

「The dining room -I was there for the breakfast- is an old one, not so inviting. The breakfast-selection is not so good, as a vegan or vegetarian you can't choose much (only beans & bread), the coffee is okay but not tasty, the juices are not fresh & sugary. There is no big pot for cooking, for two persons it would be good to have one. The bed is good, the fan does its job, the bathroom is big enough, the balcony practical. The location is near to the busline, 30min to walk to the center & there is the Lido promenade (with some places to swim) to the next small city with a small light tunnel for pedestrians, there you can hear/see the surf :) The opening times for the pool are too late in the morning and too short (8.00-20.00). The female staff at the reception with the glasses (saturday evening), didn't manage my wake-up-call for the next morning (the staff at this day showed me that he had no notice for a call), thats not a good one, because sometimes you have to depend on it.」

「Large room and bathroom, nice balcony. Lovely garden and pool area. I was out of season, so it was good value for money. The hotel is dated, so in need of a fresh paint, but it was very clean and comfortable.」

「Wonderful location, right on the beach. Nice, low volume music on the beach, friendly staff. The hotel was doing some renovations but we were on the beach all day so no disturbance for us. It would have been nice to receive a late check out with no charge. Very good value hotel, highly recommend.」
