My room smelled like cigarettes which is relatively normal for China, BUT! I asked for a non smoking room yet there is an ashtray, when I wanted to do my own laundry they tell me that they’ll do it and send it to my room. Over 12 hours later my laundry was still not sent to my room. It takes 1 hour to run a normal cycle, and nearly 2 hours to dry with low heat. Why did it take 3x the amount of time? And the toilet was not clean, these brown specks.

ゲゲストI'm usually a budget traveler but I treated myself to a stay at naked stables this Christmas. It was wonderful. The service was great (my host Simmons was lovely), the location is beautiful, all the food was delicious. They delivered a surprise dessert to my room on Christmas eve, and lots of gifts of fruit and vegetables from the farm. There was a problem with my bath on the first day so they moved me to a better room. I did lots of activities (archery, pottery, bamboo weaving etc). I loved everything and I wish I could stay there all the time!
CCynTWe stayed at the residence for 2 nights and was absolutely well taken care of by the team. The residence was huge with its own private gym, living room and dining area. Rooms had individual access which gave security. Have told the staff to include some utensils and cutleries in the residence so we could self serve at night after ordering supper. Breakfast was lovely, we chose to have it in the residence on the second day. Sound bath experience was also great. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone, it became our highlight for Hangzhou!
