The Hotel was too big and very noisey for an OLD couple,and we stayed only for 1 night, will NOT RETURN but for younger people and families, it was very good

The hotel and entrance are great, no complaints there. I’ve been a regular at another hotel within 5 miles of here, where the facilities are immaculate and the rooms are always meticulously clean. So I had high expectations. On walking into my room (250), it was freezing. I immediately turned on the electric radiator, but was woken up at 2am by the thermostat flicking on and off repeatedly. The digital screen kept lighting up and going off it felt like there was a rave in my room. Highly annoying and not conducive to a good night’s sleep. Before bed, I went for a shower and splashed foamy suds around as you do. After finishing, I was washing down the inside of the shower cubicle and noticed what I thought were leftover soap suds near the door handle. I went to wipe them off and I can tell you now, they were not soap suds. Absolutely disgusting. The previous occupant clearly lacked basic hygiene, and although it shouldn’t be expected, the cleaners really need to have a keener eye for detail. This sort of thing should never be missed. The hotel is in a great location for easy access to the motorway.  The staff were very helpful and friendly.  Our room was very spacious and had recently been refurbished.  In some parts of the hotel it was cold due to a lack of heating but thankfully, our corridor and room were lovely and warm.  Great value and would stay again.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and once again it did not disappoint. I first stayed here last August with my family, and this time I returned with my husband for a peaceful getaway. The calm, relaxing atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable. A lovely place to unwind, and we would happily come back again.

It’s a decent place to stay, I had an event to attend at the hotel so I just booked a room there to save transport costs. It’s alright for a short trip.

Absolutely fabulous weekend break set in beautiful surroundings, peaceful and we loved the wildlife. The staff were friendly and very informative and available for anything we needed. The food was lovely and everything very reasonably priced. We will definitely be booking another stay.

Stayed at the Barton Manor hotel and spa with my daughter….we had a wonderful time….from arriving to leaving the staff can’t do enough for you…the breakfast is really nice…we did not book into the restaurant for evening meal, but I was told by other guests…that the restaurant food was delicious. We will definitely be going back .

Everything is good except the bed sheet, it kept slipping off after sleeping in.  It's a flat sheet too small to tie down on the edge and corners.  We asked the staff for help and we tried to do it ourselves but it was not fixable because the flat sheet is just too small to secure the bed coverage.  The staff members are super friendly and they do try their best to help you.  The spa in the hotel is also great.  Overall the experience is beyond expectations.  The location is also great and safe.  

Lovely clean hotel. Very comfy beds. Breakfast was good. Reception staff were pleasant. Driver was the friendliest. Was a good stay but I wouldn’t say it wowed me and felt staff could’ve been more attentive. Also lack of room service, evening snacks, fridge, tv channels, alternative pillows etc. also hotel said they didn’t receive my special requests I’ve added to the trip booking which meant the birthday we were celebrating was overlooked.

room 1-4 for delux is super small despite quiet corner it was noisy was not nade aware of spa facilities prior to arrivsl hence could not use it
