The environment with its immense wooded park, a very pleasant swimming pool, spacious, clean rooms with a superb view of the park and (or) the swimming pool and the Tarn, with a most appreciable calm. "This is a fabulous hotel conveniently located across from the train station and easy walking distance to the center of Albi (Saint Cecile Cathedral is a must see, as is the Henri Toulouse-Letrec gallery). The staff were very friendly, engaged and attentive. Where this hotel really excels is in the restaurant. We had fabulous meals (the veal was sublime). Enjoyed very much and highly recommended."

"SUPER friendly! Marc on reception was just lovely as was the lady at breakfast the next day. We booked parking which turned out to be a very wise move as the little narrow streets of Albi were chockers with cars. It was a bit stressful as we couldn’t stop outside the hotel the first time as cars were behind me and it’s a narrow street. Marc must have seen me as the next time I managed to get back around through the one way street system he jumped out of reception and came to the car to tell me where to find the car park (only a street away and connected to the hotel but well hidden). My advice would be to email the hotel first and get the directions to the carpark as once you’re in there the hotel is right there. Hotel itself is faded but has a strange charm. I imagine it could be remodelled as the trendiest 60s inspired hangout with very little effort. Rooms were nice, bed comfy and the location was great- Marc drew on a map for us and told us the highlights - all of which were a short walk away. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice. If you want something friendly, clean, with a great location and don’t mind it being a bit outdated, then this is perfect. Highly recommend!"
