"Stayed one night with family (wife + 9 yo boy) Room felt a bit small/cramped. They had a lift which moved slow. Heating within the room was good so while it was freezing outside we were comfortable in there. Stay came with breakfast which had an average spread. Cereals, bacon, bread, juices. Location is the best part here as it is right in the middle of Alta. Next to the shopping mall. Walking distance to the church. Hotel Room: 3 Stars (Standard room) Room View: 3 Stars (View of the construction next door) Service of Staff: 4 Stars (Generally helpful) Lounges/Restaurants: 4 Stars (Breakfast was good) Room Service: NA Location: 5 Stars (Centre of Alta. "My colleagues and I went to Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge for a two days writing session. The place was really quiet and cosy. The food was exellent; local and well prepared. For example, we were served a delicious meal of high quality reindeer meet accompanied by, among other things, wild growing lingonberries. The rooms were clean and the staff were superfriendly. I highly recomend a stay at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge."

"ロッジのオーナー、ハンス・ウルリッヒは、私がホテルの駐車場で間違ったステーションで充電したため、私に怒鳴りつけ、車のドアを勢いよく閉めました。しかも、数千ユーロを支払ってチェックアウトした後のことでした。ホスピタリティ業界に身を置くべきではない人物による、全くもって許しがたい過剰反応です。アルタは美しく、ぜひ訪れるべき場所ですが、このロッジに泊まるのはやめましょう。公平を期すなら、フロントのアロナさんは素晴らしく親切で、状況に対応しようとしてくれましたが、明らかに間違った場所にいるスターです。"

"Just the most perfect experience! The cabin is incredibly well thought out. It has a small kitchenette (with hotplate and frypans, microwave and fridge + coffee machine) which allows for meals as you are about 15mins out of town. But the pancakes for breakfast are ESSENTIAL to try. The hot tub was set at 40° when we arrived and remained like that the whole 5 days we were there. The bathroom has heated floor (essential in -8° and straight from the hot tub) and is a great size. The heading is perfect (electric heater and double glazing). Very comfortable tilt beds to see the lights from all angles (see photo) and curtains for privacy. I cannot recommend highly enough."

"Construction work in front of the house. Very small room, no space to open a suitcase, no room service, curtains not opaque (in June with day and night lights on). We had to know what we wanted for breakfast in the evening, as we were practically the only guests in the house. No water heater or coffee machine in the room. The only positive: dinner was very tasty."
