"My Husband and I along with some friends has a fabulous stay over the weekend of Butefest. Our room No54 was awesome and not a spec of dust anywhere!! Everywhere was so clean! We never had breakfast but it looked and smelled good!! The bar was closed when we stayed but we were told we were welcome to use the space in the evening when we returned from the festival. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely go back again."

"Really enjoyed our stay at this quirky hotel. The American caddy theme was something else. We only met the owner on arrival and he was a nice chap. Our room was very clean. Plenty towels, shower gels, bathrobes, a good selection of tea, coffee and chocolate. It was very quiet we never heard other guests. We were room only. The diner when it was open got good reviews. Parking is limited but on street parking is not a problem."

"We had a sea view room which had a great view, but the windows were so dirty and cobwebs in the corners that it actually spoiled that for us. The staff and service they provided was excellent, but however I expected a wider variety of meals but the menu was very limited. It was nice to sit at the tables provided outside when having drinks, but again the metal railings at the tables had a lot of chipped and flaked paint and made the hotel look rather run down. The dining rooms and all the seating areas with lovely leather chairs was very nice on the ground floor, but moving up the stairs there was black tape holding the red tartan carpet together, our room actually had small nails holding the wallpaper on the walls. It all looked great online ,but close up it was rather tired."

"Out stay was amazing beautiful hotel grounds were stunning ,room was fabulous.The only thing I would say it took an exceptionally a long time to get a drink on the terrace,there was a wedding on in the hotel as a result they wee short staffed this has not put me off as I will book again soon."
