"Lovely place and wonderful proprietor. Brae Lea house is a quick drive from the ferry and so very easy to find. After a stressful day of travel, this was a beautiful place to land. The room was spacious with places to put our belongings, the bathroom was warm and comfortable with an excellent shower. As a bonus, the room even had comfortable chairs. If you didn't like those chairs (and who wouldn't) there were also comfortable seats in the front room. Breakfast was delicious. Our only disappointment was that we only booked the room for one night! If you happen to travel to the Isle of Uist, (and why wouldn't you?) this is an excellent place to stay."

"I would recommend this guest house to anyone, its lovely and clean, well presented. It has a fully stocked kitchen and has a nice homely feel. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, polite and if you need anything just ask, they can't do enough for you. Its easy to find and in a quiet area with plenty of views."

"The thing that makes this hotel special are the hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly, welcoming and go out to their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
