"Really enjoyed my stay at the Downright Gabbler. Loved the comfortable and well-appointed rooms, great decor, and the visitor information about the area was excellent - particularly the audio-tour which includes a lovely walk around the village and information about its history. I've not stayed in Beauly before but it struck me as a lovely village with a nice vibe and is a great base for exploring the wider area - including parts of the North Coast 500, Loch Ness and Inverness. I'd have liked to have stayed longer! The remote check-in and access instructions upon arrival were clear and straight-forward and the communications from the owners were excellent. I plan to be back and would like to tie it in next time with their evening events which look really interesting - learning more about the history of the highlands whilst sampling some great food. If you're looking for more than just a standard night's stay somewhere, I would highly recommend this place - it's lovely!"
