「Excellent! Very comfortable and good service. The people are nice and friendly and the place is clean. We had a great time and we enjoyed the food and the spa. It was very nice and quiet. The beds felt high quality and comfortable. Five stars.」
Clean and the hotel situated in a nice and safe area. Have a Target nearby. About ten minutes walk to the BART station. There is a Vietnamese restaurant opposite to the hotel which serves hot noodles if needed !
I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. It’s very clean. The staffs are amazing and very attentive. I booked the room that time because I wanted to do something nice for my girlfriend and she actually loved this day as well as the decorations that I put up . They also have remodeled so the rooms are updated. Very nice and feels comfortable. . This is the only hotel that I stay in when I’m in the area I highly recommend.
Very convenient location close to Sunvalley shopping mall, grocery stores (two Safeways), family entertainment like Six Flags Hurricane Water Park. Also saw the 4th of July parade in downtown Pleasant Hill. My only complaint is the hotel’s parking lot was re-paved for two days when we stayed. there were limited and no parking spaces on the premises so we had to park quite far from the hotel and walk back with luggage and groceries. We were charged US$10 per day to use the hotels parking lot but I felt we shouldn’t have been charged the two days we could not park our car at the hotel’s parking lot due to it being under construction and road was re-paved.
I initially had a hard time locating this Inn, Waze was directing me to a gas station and a restaurant when it was hidden in a corner! The should put up a sign or arrow pointer!
Room is clean. I used a black light and saw no stains on my sheets which is a good thing! The best thing is the price for the room and the security. It is one step above a Motel 8 for sure!
I stayed 4 nights and was expecting them to refresh the towels and linen on the 3rd day but it did not happen!
Everything was about right, except the breakfast. The Clariion offered a variety of cereals, but no milk.for the cereal. The vast majority of cereal eaters add milk to this dish. Something minor and possibly a personal sensitivity is that a hotel was once traditionally supposed to be a home away from home and guest were to be welcomed as hosts would wanted guests. In my several contacts with the front desk, I was treated properly and competently but not welcomed, not with a smile and wishes that I enjoy the hotel. Doing what I'm suggesting wouldn't cost the Clarion anything, but it would likely make your guests more likely to return.
Room smelled musty probably because of the old carpet. Lamps in the nightstand were dusty and the microwave had rust inside so we didn’t feel safe using it. Towels were too thin but everything else was ok. Location is good. If you’re picky with where you’re staying at I wouldn’t recommend it but for visiting a family and don’t have other choice then yes.
