"Mika Eco Resort is a beautifully located resort in a green oasis near Hoima. The beautiful garden with many trees and plants provides a quiet atmosphere, and with some luck you even spot there monkeys. The pool looks inviting, though it was unfortunately limited to enjoying it by rain, and it was a great delight between the bush and the sauna fell in our taste. The restaurant, fully wooden and surrounded by palm trees, has a pleasant jungle-exposure, the dishes were good: the rough champignon soup, the fried chicken wings and the chickenburger were all good. We noticed, as we did more often during our trip, that not all the dishes were available on the map, the rooms were comfortable and the staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant and the rescue was less hearty and we also regretted the fact that the lying chairs were not allowed to be placed in the sun, which resulted in less pleasant relaxation in the pool."

"This place is not well maintained: they put more effort into managing their garden than to make sure things are working properly. The gym was completely worn down, and the pool water was still standing - we avoided to use it. There was a lot of staff but they were not engaging or helpful. They were very unbothered by their guests. The food was not great. Rooms were spacious but power went on and off so AC and fridge did not work. Shower head was full of limescale and did not properly work. Would not recommend."

"Some staff are not welcoming and they allow other customers to inconvenience others. There's a room that kept playing loud music. I requested for them to reduce but nothing was done. During breakfast I requested for my food to be warmed using a microwave and was first told they don't have a microwave, in shock I re-echoed in shock you have no microwave? The lady later told me they don't do it. Then I asked you don't do it or are not allowed then she responded its not working. As you stay watch out for such. For breakfast ensure your the first to serve or you will have cold breakfast."
