"Tiny room and warm, only water and hot drinks in room no snacks etc Toilet is tiny hard to get in shower is nice but hand wand is a trickle Thallasos is a 5 min walk over a road spa in hotel was packed and too busy to use . Sunny day no outdoor pool was a great shame Food was small avoid the Andullette sausage it had a strong smell and I could not eat it only for the very brave View is the best thing about this hotel as you get to see the sunset !"

"Had fabulous 2 days in this boutique hotel. The rooms are modern in design with stylish decor. There was adequate storage space and the beds were very comfortable. A great bonus is the heated swimming pool where one can relax and enjoy a drink and snacks. Breakfast was self service and offered a good choice of continental fare. The owners and their family are really friendly and helpful. We will visit again!"

"A great three night stay in this small hotel. The owners and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is on the road back from the sea front and so quieter than other hotels, which always suits us. There was a good selection for breakfast including home made cakes. It is an easy short stroll from the restaurants and close to the train station for a short ride into La Rochelle. We would definitely return."

"It has been a long time since we have so looked forward to leaving a hotel. I get the idea of a simple beach front vibe where you can enjoy a place where land and sea come together. We have been savoring that environment throughout our lifetime. We also know that many people come to this sort of place with swim trunks, jeans and a gym bag. But this hotel was designed by a bunch of accountants with some nostalgia for college dorms. Whether you view the decor as cutesy, tacky or just a way to save money, the rooms are tight, cheaply provisioned and don't disguise their budget motel backbone. Granted, the lighting in the bathroom is good, the rainwater shower is not bad and everything is hygienic We didn't come here for the "thalasso" or the pool. The restaurant is one of the worst we have encountered in half a century of enjoying France. Breakfast was acceptable, thanks to some decent self catered coffee. The pastries are straight out of a discount supermarket. Yes, the real estate is valuable, and some explanation of the relatively high price. I don't recall many places that were so obsessed with insuring payment. Yes, I am willing to pay for two nights room and board at check in, but is that necessary when you already have my credit card information and Elite status with Accor? Yes, we usually stay at Accor's more upscale brands. But we have been to a few Ibis Styles. This one is best skipped."

"My cousin and I found this amazing hotel by accident, and what a gem it turned out to be. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotels interior is fresh, comfortable and inviting with lots of individual decor touches. It was also spotless. The view of the beach from my bedroom window was wonderful. The weather was perfect, warm and sunny, which always helps. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast, everything lovely and fresh. I can’t praise this little gem enough and it was such a shame that we weren’t able to stay longer ."
